Forget the West, even Bollywood doesn't consider Desi Men good looking other than a particular region in North India. 90% of Bollywood actors have been Punjabi. Not just now but through eternity. The female demographic is a lot more even. Why is that? It's because other than Punjabi Men, Desi Men do not fit into the conventionally attractive category. The good news is it's changing. With proper diet, gym, Skin care & grooming.....Desi Men are becoming a lot more attractive than just 15 years ago. Just facts!!!

Koreans look better than desis ? I don't want to sound mean. They are short height, single eyelids, obsession with fair skin are not really beauty standards . Also, some tend to put on the cringe "ayegoo" act😂 and are insecure about their looks . Additionally, there are no beauty pageants for them. However, their skin quality is good (not naturally) . Also they're way more racist than Indians . They hate South Asians and black people.

As for their hit romcom dramas, they aren't much different from KJo movies, usual storyline of a rich hot guy, a poor clumsy girlfriend, and a second lead.

I think it's relative again. Some girls find dark men hotter, some find fair men hotter. I find Surya(Tamil hero) and VjayD more handsome and hotter than Shahid kapoor. Some girls find Korean guys hotter for white skin, some girls find Indian guys hotter for brown skin. Making blanket statements like all desi men and women lacks looks makes me :

Well Nihangs are warrior sect so they are bound to be tall, bulky, muscular and probably look rugged, aggressive as well.

They have a very strict, tough and disciplined routine from childhood and a fixed diet, and learn sword fighting and martial arts, horse riding, gatka from young age. This is why physically they are active and well built.

I was talking of average height. Not exceptions.

Otherwise we do have tall men like Amitabh, Abhishek, Kabir Bedi, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati etc in Indian cinema and many tall models.

My comment was more about average stuff.

Even in terms of skin or complexion we do have exceptions such as a lot of people in Himachal, Northeast, Kashmir, Coorg who have comparatively better skin tone. Punjabis for eg are fair but may not necessarily have even skin tone the way the Korean ones have unreal glass skin, smooth and even skin. Or even Pakistanis have even skin tone.

So when TM says Korean culture took over the world I have to pushback and say "not my world". But I do have some friends who watch Naruto and Anime but thats not from Korea.
