Given the low buzz it’s been carrying the past week maybe not so much. Keeping in mind that ADHM opened at around 13 crores with a lot of controversy generated buzz. I’m also curious to know how Barbie and Oppenheimer did today and if they played a part in the low opening numbers.

Brahmastra was shot for years and years in live locations. TJMM was also mostly shot internationally, and Ranbir charges the most out of the whole lot. This is shot in two random sets in Mumbai. The budget is probably like 30 Cr Ranveer, 20 Cr Alia, 80 Cr Karan 😆

This is opening where anyone should have expected it to open a month ago. 10-20% below TJMM and 50% higher than Varun-Karthik is a great start for Ranveer. It's bad for Karan. Alia of course seems to have washed her hands off this with all the back to back announcements last few weeks. 😆

ADHM had more competition. Shivaay opened at ~10 Cr and it was pre-Diwali period which is very dampened.

Oppenheimer & Barbie did ~7 Cr on Thursday. So it probably did 5-6 Cr today. Plus Oppenheimer is very adult and male leaning, I doubt it had much overlap at all.
