Glad to see good reviews about the movie.

10 crore opening is not bad considering the red alert of heavy rains in many areas. In Hyderabad schools are closed from past few days due to heavy rains and water clogging, offices allowed people to work from home. Even in Delhi and Mumbai there is heavy rain alert. Multiplexes in urban cities are the main source of box office for this kinda genre movie, so BO tend to get affected bcz of above reasons. Also there is conjunctivitis outbreak in few parts of the country. So considering all this 10 crore opening is not bad. Tomorrow is Muharram holiday, Box office would have picked up tomorrow if not these heavy rains.

On the whole, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an out-and-out entertainer but the lack of superhit music will come in the way of realisation of its full potential at the box-office. Besides, its below-the-mark initial today is not just alarming but also an indicator that the business will not be bumper even if one can safely expect collections to pick up.

This genre is almost dead. If music was of ADHM/YJHD level, it would have opened 15+.
