Lol. People still arguing over who the last superstar of our gen is. 😆 There isn’t a doubt about SRK being that one for the longest time, sharing that title with Salman for a brief period post 2010. It’s not just movies what makes them a superstar inside or outside the circle. Even though SRK was constantly giving many flops in 90s as he was working in back to back 4 movies a year, it was already his charm, personality, humility and respect towards the seniors and the women around him that made those FF award nights such genuine vibes. All senior actors, Dilip Kumar saab, Zeenat Aman, Simi Grewal, Rekha, Amitabh, Amol Palekar and so many artists were SO fond of him, affectionate. SRK’s presence screamed of that aura, of his superstardom.

Media or not, the happiness and joy that he spread all around whenever he was on screen, it was evident BW adored this man !

Even today it’s endearing to read about Suchitra Krishnamoorthy and so many other artists interviews still being in an awe of him. If he is not the blessed one, not the superstar of our 30+ gen kids, then I dont know who is.

Salman to an extent has this connect, but not amongst the seniors. Aamir people could never connect to him personally, so he wasn’t even in the competition of being superstar ! Sad but truth. It’s not just ‘BO’ that makes or breaks superstardom IMO. The game is much more beyond that, and SRK with his intelligence and charishma, somehow cracked the code and won it long back. Game over for others.

All those speak of Ranbir in glowing terms. Is he a superstar? smiley36 Many actors receive such glowing praises from the industry. Alia is another example. Are we talking about forging connections or relationships within the industry?

Seriously reading love letters from fans here. smiley36 A section of crazens doesn't imply the whole generation. All of them were in hiding for almost a decade and with cameos from different stars got one hit and here you see SRK is this he is that, ruled for 3 decades, all that crops up.

Hahaha! These PR and social media made Ranbirs and Ranveers or Alias are NOT in league of past superstars at all.

Seeing promos of Rocky Rani whatever I was wondering how Rani, Preity looked so convincing in those songs and routines which Alia is messing up.

Alia did not look appealing even with that bra like blouse and draping pallu without covering cleavage.

And stars of past got attention without selling personal life all the time and without doing nude photoshoots or taking off towels

These fanatics keep posting lies. Their thesis make to seem like Kim Kardashein is a superstar. smiley36

Dilip Kumar never spoke of SRK such highly. AFAIK it was SRK in his interview said his family feels he looks like Dilip Kumar.

What reach and what fanbase when he can't give a hit on his own. 😆

Jealous of SRK 😆 You got to be joking. 😆

Why would I be jealous of a mere BW celeb?

DK was usually courteous and spoke highly of Amitabh, Dharmendra, Aamir, SRK and even TV actors like Surendra Pal, Mukesh Khanna.

He had habit of encouraging younger actors who looked up to him as a senior.

He would appreciate if he found someone did good work or had potential or behaved well or had talent or professionalism or good understanding of cinema.

Let's not pretend he just praised SRK only.

He would also criticise if he ever found something lacking. For eg his criticism of Madhuri Dixit for mainly focusing on dance and glamour and less on acting or his criticism of Lata and Asha's Marathi accent which came across in their Hindi and Urdu songs.

His praise or criticism was usually as a man of cinema and as a senior who knew the industry and craft.

Did I do that?

Dilip Saab was very fond of ShahRukh...he told me so and also why...and he had no reason to lie to me. If ever he had to criticise something SRK did, he would tell him in private, not to the media (or do you have a prove for the contrary? or anyone else?)

Not just you but others also here who pretend like only SRK is praised by industry and colleagues and no one else is.

Or ones who twist criteria all the time and earlier bragged about SRK's BO, but since 2005 they have been saying BO records and hits do not make a superstar or impact of film or critics or fan following or style do not make a superstar.

A lot of SRK fans tie themselves in knots to deny stardom of other Khans and even that of Amitabh, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Kaka to somehow emphasise as if SRK is the only one eligible to be called superstar or the biggest superstar ever.

This style of discussion and futile arguments have been going on for decades online now. I am frankly tired of how repetitive it is.

Probably fans will go on arguing long after even actors have died.

Salman fans talking about PR 🤣 after that whole Being Human saga .

Amir takes 3-4 yrs . They're either biggest hits or all time disaster like his last two movies. No consistency .Fanbase is nowhere is close to Srk/Salman. Even Akki n HR have bigger fanbase than him .

Haters talk about dull last decade. Truth is he has only 3 flops last decade. All other movies are successful. his dull phase is better than best phase of many actors .

Success rate- SRK

Fanbase - SRK

Impact n Influence -SRK

Srk is last of stars . Nobody can change the fact
