She is a typical possessive desi Punjabi mom who thinks girls of today are too tez and her son is innocent.

The way she and Riddhima kept hovering around Ranbir and his GFs it was evident they and Rishi have had final veto over RK's relations and which girl he should settle with and they are controlling and possessive of his time and attention.

That's why I feel it's the aftereffects of her troubled marriage. The trauma never leaves you.

I have a cousin who was pampered by his girlfriend and her family so much that he started neglecting his mother. He is still the same after marriage.

There has to be a balance dealing with both wife and mother. Majority men are not able to maintain the balance. They fail.
