As suspected, Mahapati takes great offence to being called an idiot by Samrat (not so much the other crimes it seems) and sentences him to death. But Tara interferes (maybe because of Ravi baba), and he's eventually sentenced to prison.

In the court, Mahapati announces that Samrat's turban, weapons and slippers be removed. He says death would be preferable to such a punishment, and Maharaj says he'll grant that in due course too.

Precap- Maharaj announces D-T wedding. Senapati is getting lashed, but refuses to tell Ravi's location.
