Are you bulking or cutting? You have to eat higher calories if you're trying to put on muscle. If you're trying to lose fat then you have to be under your maintenance Calories.

Lentils & Beans are a great source of protein. Eat more Dal, Rajma etc. Peas, Quinoa, Oats, Nut Butter also provide ample protein. Quinoa in particular is a complete source of protein which isn't very common in plant based foods.

The rest is minerals like calcium and just water or moisture?

This is again from Google

"No, regular protein powders do not contain anabolic steroids.

When people bring up the false claim that protein powders contain steroids, they’re referring to performance-enhancing drugs like anabolic steroids

Just because protein powder and anabolic steroids share a common feature — facilitating muscle building — doesn’t make them the same type of substance"

You're going to need Carbs during the bulking phase. You could do a clean bulk, but it's boring & honestly nobody does it. Carbs will give you extra strength/energy at the gym to go harder & lift heavier. Just concentrate on increasing mass/strength/reps and higher calorie intake for now. Save the clean eating for the shred. But remember to also lift heavy or you'll just get fat with little muscle gain.
