Should Hindi film industry try to create better horror movies?

Hello everyone! Hindi film industry is not very good at creating horror movies. There are only a few good horror movies such as 1920 and Haunted 3D. Why don't they create good horror movies? In Hindi film industry, film makers create better romantic movies compared to horror movies. Why can be the reasons? Please share your opinions.

Some movies disguised as romantic/comedy are actually horror if you watch carefully. Have you seen Race 3? Frightening.

Yes, I watched it. I was very curious about it. So, I went to a cinema hall to watch it. However, it did not meet my expectations. I know a lot of people praised it very much. The story was good. Still I didn't like it very much.

Recently we had a horror web series in prime- Adhura.

It was quite good. 😳

I like the affects they do. I just wish they use more popular actors.

Yes! They make horror films that turn into unintentional comedies. IMO the only exception being Raaz. I personally feel it is scarier than the original, “What lies Beneath.” But in order to achieve that they made the movie a bit misogynistic. They turned the spirit wicked and evil. Whereas in the original it was just trying to warn the wife about the truth about her hubby.
