I agree with hate leads to suffering. If you really hate someone and can’t forgive them for what they did. The only person suffering is you. But I fail to understand how it all stems from fear. I am scared of anyone I hate. 🤷‍♀️

Yes but I believe there’s more to it. Ignorance leads to fear and then fear leads to everything else. But like everything else context also puts a different light on things.

Fear is - as such - nothing bad because the instinctive one is a part of our survival instinct.

But fear also ist something one get instilled... fear as a part of education/upbringing/belief systems/power plays indeed is what Yoda means...it will always have a negative effect on psyche and emotions...and one of the negative effects is hate...

There is the opinion that hate is the antagonist of love...I don't think so...it's the fear to look for a path to love, the fear of positive thinking, the fear to face certain issues...and to confront the own short-comings...

As someone with entomophobia, I can testify its true. I have an irrational fear of insects - my palms sweaty, my heart racing, frozen-in-your-place type of fear. The rational part of my brain knows that many insects are harmless and even beneficial to the ecosystem. But the irrational part shuts down all functioning. And in the pangs of fear even beautiful butterflies are evil creatures that must be eliminated. I would burn down an entire village to kill an insect.

It depends on the context in my opinion. Fear can lead to one's suffering. Fearing the unknown. Overthinking ultimately can make someone feel miserable. Anger can lead someone to hate the thing or being but I'm not sure if fear can make someone hate something. Again, it depends on the context. Which varies from situation to situation, person to person. It's possible when you fear a person, you overthink what could go wrong & end up hating the person beyond limit (then you never believed the person reason why you were overthinking), then the possible scenario in your head makes you suffer.

We experience things differently, we perceive things differently, react it to differently, too. So, to many that order might be true while many may not agree.
