Because they did more films. Period.

Mithun, Jeetu, Govinda, Dharam, Amitabh etc all named in list, did a lot of films. Either for money or for colleagues or friends.

Mithun especially worked only for money and even did B grade films to keep afloat.

He now owns chain of hotels in Ooty.

He was highest tax payer in 90s among BW heroes.

All thanks to films he did.

He had no time for his family either.
