Is the career of Vidya Balan really over now after Neeyat disaster?

Neeyat opening figures are not even close to 1cr. No mainstream actor’s films open in lakhs, but Vidya has dropped to this standard sadly. It's embarrassing.

I’m sure she will still get movies. An then she married a producer so there’s that.

No surprises! Movie had zero buzz, no music, no big names except Vidya plus everybody number has come down post pandemic.

She'll survive, she shouldn't have signed this one though.

I want Vidya to do comedy movies like she did in early days of career

She should hire Rani's PR that will keep calling the low openings good and it would help attract the audience.

Anyways, everyone expected the film to be a straight to OTT movie because of Vidya's lack of stardom.

Yes, to a large extent. She has limited appeal to viewers. And sadly most actresses have to accept the harsh truth of aging and less demand.

We live in 2023, not 1990.

Vidya's career will never be over. She loves acting and she won't ever retire, like she has said in multiple interviews.

Also, she is out of the unnecessary rat race and hasn't played the conventional Bollywood heroine since ages now. 1 BO flop doesn't mean anything to her or her career. 👍🏼

And since her husband is a producer, she will never be out of movies.👍🏼

Besides, Neeyat had OTT written all over it. Not sure why they releases it in the theaters. I was actually waiting for it to pop-up on Netflix any day, until I realized today that it released in the theaters.
