Lagaan is not my type. Neither the movie or songs.

Between these 2, Lagaan.

I prefer Lagaan. I don't know any songs from Tum Bin.

totally agree.

i just wish the music part did not go on and on. Jagjit's voice is mesmerizing, so they should have had more of the vocals.

Lagaan by a landslide as far as I’m concerned ….

The richness in its instrumentation , percussion, blending of Indian folk, Indian classical and western classical to capture the essence of the village and the British empire.. …its majestic , rousing work …

Tum bin is ur standard ho hum romantic or party songs …nothing bad but nothing amazing imo..there are better romantic songs/albums from that era …

Lagaan as a music album has more range, skill, experimentation and serves the film beautifully …it deserved every award it won and every award it didn’t win …one of the main reasons Lagaan looks so international standard even today, is it’s music/bgm

Tum Bin is a deceptive album, in that it gives an impression of being a great album (it is) but it pales significantly in comparison to Lagaan, especially as you listen to both the albums over the years.

does lagan have a single song which still can give you gooesbumps like this .....after 22 years the repeat value for Tum Bin is higher than Lagan

I just did a little experiment and went back to listen to all the albums back to back. Lagaan is the clear winner, by a mile.
