Did you ever lose a lot of money? How did you cope? - Page 2

This is my greatest fear. I have no idea what I would do.

But as people have stated - if you lose money in stocks or crypto or most investments, the key is not to panic and hold till it picks up again.

The good thing about losing money is u can earn it back…there is a lot of things in life u can’t earn back so …losing money while still a bummer, is not as bad as losing health, or a person u love

My dad ran into a similar situation with an investment that went awry…and that too months before my sisters wedding …he just put his head down and worked hard for the next 2 years (night shifts, on call work, anything that could bring in more income) …my fam cut down on all unnecessary expenses for those 2 years …and that got us back on track …so it’s not unusual to get back on track post financial setbacks …

One of our friends returned to India after staying many yrs abroad. He purchased a flat in an apartment complex and paid in full cash. He was cheated and lost all 9million. They did their best, nothing happened. Now both husband wife working hard and earning to secure their and kids future.

They are thankful that they have each other and their education to fall upon. Money can still be earned.

Becos of my dad we lost lot of money . just trying , when life gets tougher , tough gets going .
