Episode 29 Update
- Titli says she loves only Garv but her fam's happiness is more important than hers and her love's. She will never go against them whether they support her or not in her love for Garv.
- Koyal is sitting with Daadu. She asks him if he remembers when she came to the house as a bride for the first time.
- Daadu ne fatak se na bola 🤣
- I'm sorry this is supposed to be an emotional scene but the way Daadu said it so fast cracked me up
- Koyal, without missing a beat, carries on with her DDP
- She used to be very happy and would apply a lot of kajal around her eyes so that even if she cried, it would stay hidden (perhaps a foreshadowing to Titli having to use makeup to hide her abuse)
- in an instant, Manikant broke his relationship with her
- Maina brings water for Manikant who continues to crib about Garv. Says he should have smacked him then and there. Maina says it's good that he didn't since he's no longer a child. Manikant's like, yeahh no wonder he's taking such important decisions all by himself (he was being sarcastic)
- Maina asks why he's against Garv's decision in the first place. Manikant doesn't want his family's reputation to be ruined. He didn't work this hard for Garv to ruin it all. Maina is in support of Garv as she reminds him how stubborn Garv is. If he says he will marry Titli, then that's exactly what will happen. As far as matter goes about Titli being from a poorer family, then that's beneficial for them as it will be easier for them to make her subservient to them. (wow Maina). In a few days, she will adapt to their ways.
- Koyal: Yaad hai na aap ko?
- Daadu: Nahi
- Koyal carries on. (why are you doing this 🤣)
- She was broken herself but she didn't let anyone else break in the house. Now everyone in the house has the most complaints with her. It's as if no body even knows who she is.
- Daadu: Kaun hai tu?
- Daaadduuuuuu, why you being like this 😭😭😭. I know you have Alzheimer's but still 😭😭
- Koyal continues to cry about how even those with no memory problems knows who she is. No matter who goofs up in the house, it will always be her who's blamed
- Maina points out how for the first time Garv went against BM for Titli. Who knows to what extent he can go in her love. It will ultimately be their ill reputation.
- Garv looking like a totally hot mirchi in white shirt and black shades comes to the location Monica has called him to
- But surprise surprise, there is no Monica, but his very own Titli

- Garv comes to Titli all smiling. He asks, "tum yaha" scaring her and she falls off the ladder and straight into his arms

- garv asks if she's okay, did she get hurt to which titli says no because he saved her like always. she asks if he will always take care of her like this. Garv says he doesn't understand
- Titli says to understand her, she'll have to understand the people who mean a lot to her first. Garv thinks it's flowers and Titli says yes 😭😭
- She goes on to talk about flowers and their different meanings. The flower she's explaining symbolizes loyalty and trust. It binds people in a very special bond that two people will always protect each other no matter what hurdles life throws their way. They will never leave each other and she's ready for this. Garv samajh gaya iski baat. She asks if he is as well. Garv says he promises that he will always be there for her whenever and wherever she needs him. He will never leave her and asks to trust him.
- She gestures for him to help her finish setting up. They both climb the ladder. Titli gives Garv a cropsis (same flower I was using in my fic 😆) saying it brings happiness. Same way she wants to bring happiness to him. All her happiness is his and all his sadness is hers. Garv says never. As long as he's there, she will only get happiness in her share, never sadness. That's his promise. Titli gives him the flower.
- They climb another rung. Titli gives him a daisy. This symbolizes new beginnings in life. Gives that flower to him.
- They climb another rung. Titli gives him a pink carnation. This is for those who are very special in someone's life. Even if they forget everyone in life, never them. Garv adds not even after death. That flower is also exchanged.
- Another rung is climbed. Titli presents a sunflower. They love the sun a lot as they can't see anything else. Titli says the same loyalty will be seen in her love. Her heart was never anyone else's before and never will be. Sunflower is exchanged.
- Last rung is climbed. Titli says they will climb through life's ladder together just like they did with this one. Just like they take 7 pheres, they have climbed these seven rungs together. Every step had one promise and the flowers are a witness to it. Titli and her heart are now connected to Garv. They are both his always. Garv looks at the flowers he has collected and is immensely happy.
- There's a bunch of clapping and it's Monica, Titli's family and friend there. The friend says that Titli has handed herself over to you, and now where will you keep her? Garv takes the butterfly that was in Titli's hand and puts it in the heart box. He keeps the flowers he had gotten in there as well. He says, "mere dil mein". There will be no bandish or qaid in his love. But this Titli will never be free from his heart.

- TiRv takes ashirwaad from everyone. Garv apologizes to Kaka. Kaka says he has long forgotten it, and that's why he's standing there in front of him. Monica is super to have Titli in the fam. Garv teases Monica about helping out with the plan. She compliments Titli's proposal idea. (Me too Sis! Itna beautiful proposal meine nahi aaj tak dekha ITV par. ✌🏽😩)
- lmao, Garv says he would have planned a more mindblowing proposal.

- Koyal refuses to eat and is still mad at Garv. She tries to do nazar utaar on Garv because she thinks Titli has done a spell on him. She will get him married to a girl who's nothing like her.
- Garv tells her that Titli is like his BM that's why he loves her so much. He sees BM's reflection in Titli. He sees the same honesty, clean heart. That's why he gave his heart to her. He truly loves her a lot. He gets a lot of happiness with her. No matter how stressed he will get in life, her one smile will chase it all away. He finds peace with her. He can't imagine himself with anyone except her and asks BM to accept the relationship. He's sure she will come to like her one day. Koyal gets pissed at this and says she doesn't like Titli and never will. Garv is upset and is leaving when Koyal says that if she says no to Titli then he'll be sad. And if he gets sad then how can Koyal be happy. She tells him to go do what he wants. Garv is ecstatic and dances with her. Lmao, he drops her on the bed. 😆
- Koyal tells him not to get too happy as she's only doing this for him. She also tells him that she'll always keep an eye on her. Garv is okay with whatever she wants to do.

Unlike some toxic relationships, Garv didn't force this relationship onto Titli. He didn't compel her with a contract, or put her in some helpless situation that will provoke her to be with him. Rather, Titli has come to him willingly and with love in her heart. Hence, given their current state there are no restrictions, shackles or imprisonment. In order for Titli to become wholly and truly his, the most important thing for him to gain from her was her unending loyalty, trust and most important of all - consent.
They have exchanged vows symbolically in ways that are most important to Titli. Being surrounded by the open air, flowers, lots of light, and white colors (which symbolize purity, innocence, and new beginnings). The vows that were made, and the method in which they were exchanged were also on Titli's terms. In this situation, Garv was a mere participant, but the outcome was ultimately in his favor - he got Titli.
Now that he does have her, he will never let her go (or let her be freed). For better or for worse, she's stuck in this relationship and I have a feeling all the words she spoke today are either going to be used against her as a way of excusing/justifying his shitty behavior, gaslighting her or questioning the sincerity of her loyalty and love.
Thoughts:
Maina was successfully able to lure Manikant into accepting Garv's decision. Her suggestion about keeping Titli subservient makes me wonder if she used a similar tactic in keeping Koyal around in the house. On the other hand, she might have just said that as a way to get Manikant to say yes as she knows Garv very well. Either way, the points she used had a lot of logic to them. Makes me wonder as to how she's not a lawyer too. 😆
Koyal & Daadu's scene was supposed to be sad but I couldn't help but find the humor in it with Daadu being so damn clueless. Also, given Koyal's kaands, it was hard for me to sympathize with her completely. What's even more saddening is that despite all the love Garv gives her, Koyal still feels as if no body actually knows and sees her. Which makes me remember all the points Titli had made about her behavior based off of just a few interactions and I'm like, but Titli saw you and you refused to acknowledge it. I think this is going to be Koyal's biggest hurdle in her life. Not just getting others to see her for who she is, but seeing herself as well.
On a side note, since Garv has called Titli a reflection of Koyal, I find it a bit funny how Koyal hates her. Jaise sab Koyal se chid jaate hai, vaise hi Koyal ab khud se chid ri hai. 😆
The proposal was extremely well done! The set up was gorgeous, the colors, the lighting, the dressing scheme - but most important of all the concept!! It was PERFECT for who Titli is as a character, and it was so incredibly unique as well. It was true to how modern day kids would propose to one another and the fact that this was an official one that was done by a woman - 👏!
Garv needs to be taking notes man cuz there is NO WAY he can top this! 😆
It was cute how Titli's whole fam had joined in to help set up for the proposal. No matter how much they crib, they get an A+ for making this day so special for Titli and supporting her in such an important and grand way!
The Mehtas need to be taking lessons on how to bond as a fam! 😆
I don't think Garv even bothered to care if anyone else was on board with the shaadi or not. He only cared about BM which was typical. I guess yeh baaki sab ko ek aur PSA mein shaadi ke dates announce kar deta. 😆
Over all, really nice episode! The shaadi is going to be on in full swing now, so sab mil kar zor se jhoomo aur naacho. Baad mein rona hi hai. 😆
