I defend Abhimanyu for the custody case because he wanted co parenting and it was Akshara and Goenkas who wanted to wipe him out of Abhir's life. BUT I don't think Akshara was wrong in hiding Abhir from him when she did. These thoughts can exist at the same time. Miscommunication and misunderstanding led them to the point where when Akshara called, either Abhimanyu was trying to save his mother's life or Abhinav picked when he called and Abhimanyu was never shown someone ok with a third person commenting on his relationships. So her hiding Abhir was correct, even though the birth certificate thing was wrong and illegal.
But the fact remains that Akshara wanted all, Abhimanyu was ok with compromise. He never not called Abhinav the father since he himself was his Niel's and Ruhi's father, and if she knew her grandfather was wrong to say Abhir will never know the truth, she should have stopped it, or prepared Abhir for losing, which she didn't. So yes, currently, I do find her more wrong because she is playing the my way or highway rule, which isn't fair when multiple lives are involved. And if we say it is allowed because Abhimanyu did that too, then we have to acknowledge she is doing all this for revenge and isn't saintly, we can't say one was wrong in doing so and the other is correct.

She already tried to inform also waited for him for 7mnths but to get disappointed! So Ak was not wrong hiding Abhirs truth from Birla’s as she knows how selfish and impulsive ma beta can be and snatch her kid, and they proved her right by doing that! Even I expected her to reveal the truth to Abhir and give rights to AbM but the situations were not in their favour so everyone including AbM decided to hide the truth !
But he always failed assuring her that he only wants to co parent n not snatch the kid! He was always rude and challenging with her for his HAQ! She have her past fears too where she have to lose everything just because of him because of his impulsive nature!Once he went to kasuali and stayed in Sharma’s house ,the equation changed ,she started believing him ,been nice ,friendly and also want to reveal the truth! But AbM never stopped or stops his mom from doing all the wrong things in his life! Why didn’t he stop Mj from challenging BP? He is equally wrong too!
Abhir don’t need anyone’s permission to call Abhinav his papa! Their bond is beautiful !Abhinav will always remain Abhir’s papa as AbM will remain poppy to Ruhi! Of course he is not constant with any of his relationships so is with Ruhi!
