Women who were wronged don't take second chances at happiness for gran

I was thinking what an insult this show is to women who go through failed marriage and when life gives them second chance at love they give they their everything to it as they know the value of it.

Here we have ms/mrs anupama who went through a lot in her first marriage from her ex husband and ex in laws and yet she is still their maid even after getting married to man as good as anuj ( recently his character is also butchered so won't defend him now bcoz he is giving even anupama run for money in stupidity) .

After losing anuj she gave bhashan for her udaan in starting dance academy to teach dance to students ( the udaan that never took off)

Then she went as far as claiming herself being suraj and new udaan came in picture with malti devi and going to America which may again never take off ( as per current rumours)

I have never defended anuj Or anupama in their wrong doings but have felt pity for both of them at various stages in show. But now i just don't feel pity for anupama as she is a ridiculous example of women empowerment as she is all words and no actions.

Before becoming suraj she should try to become a self respectful women who doesn't fall in feet of baa bhagwan, who doesn't hang out alone with his abusive ex and who doesn't misplace her priorities after second marriage as she is very lucky to get this second chance which most women don't get .

If you don't like the post feel free to ignore as we all have a right to put across our opinions. Being a fan of a character doesn't mean we should be blind to their wrong actions as per me so i will not shy away from calling spade a spade .

The opportunities will keep coming her way but what's the point when mentally, she may still be residing in the Tamashah shanty. For all means and purposes, the so-called journey practically ended the day she walked back into the same madhouse after divorce, to stay in the storeroom and serve the ex in-laws almost like a maid while the woman her husband cheated on her with, now lived in the bedroom, which was earlier hers. She has never valued her own self respect so let's not keep too many expectations that she'll actually take up a chance, where she can be happy and accomplish something individually.

Yes i don't have any expectations from anupama but the way they keep hyping up about different udaans is what irritates me as it looks like a joke to women who actually begin afresh with lot dignity everytime life throws challenges their way.

Totally agree. The makers should stop promoting this utter nonsense as a woman empowerment show. It is everything but a woman empowerment show. Anupama since her divorce has literally made 0 progress. Mentally, emotionally she is still the picturesque Shah bahu. She hasn't come out of that mindset at all. Still running after Baa and going on long walks with Vanraj without the slightest hint of hesitation.

Where is the empowerment? Every opportunity is wasted. Every chance thrown aside. Giving long lectures but not taking any actions to back them up. Respect karne me aur doormat ban jane me bahut difference hota hai. But this woman mistakes her foolish behaviour as respect and greatness!

Anupama could have been a path breaking show. Instead it's just an old candy in shiny new wrapper. Such shows do more harm than good, creating horrible misconceptions about the struggles of very real women in very real abusive relationships who have worked hard to restart their life.

Such a pathetic character she has, after second marriage kept on running to SH to fulfill their every whims let them destroy her new life, took away all peace and happiness of Anuj's life still has zero realization and still serves Baa even giving stupid lectures of respecting elders as they are Bhagwaan who after doing wrong just cry and talk about old age home so that all their wrong doings are forgiven giving gyaan and being over friendly with VS and then cry for being abused what was the use of reminding her of 25 years abuse when she still is getting abused from these people and still pampers them
