Abhimanyu, my man. It's been... so many years.. When will you wake up?

I am absolutely stumped today.

Abhimanyu Birla : How do I have the lowest of expectations from you and you still fail.

He didn't utter a single word against his mother's extremely shameless diatribe.

I really thought.. This must be THE SCENE where he can redeem himself.

One of the points of redemption for him has always been speaking up against Manjiri. To finally take a stand against his manipulative shameless POS of a mother who has nothing to do in life than meddling in his personal life and messing with his head.

Manjiri is the reason Abhimanyu is where he is in life. How unhappy he is and as much as he tries to fix it himself.. With time and effort and understanding.. She undoes all his hardwork. Every. Single. Time.

It's hard to root for a ML like this who never speaks up against his mother. He's a 40 year old grown a-- man, ffs. If not now, then when? His mother is screeching her plans outloud which involve him being an active participant in breaking a marriage and a family.. And he didn't utter a word except whining for a second.

Some might say he did the same thing. He propositioned a married woman to leave her husband and son and come back to him. He even had the shamelessness of asking Abhinav to give his cheez 'Akshu' back. But haven't we come far from that version of Abhimanyu? I feel like it's been months of progress. Redemption or not, his track/arc had been going well. This was the perfect opportunity to show THAT progress. That he knew what he did was wrong and now is telling his mother so, that too publicly.

Regardless of what happens in the future, whether the Abhira reunion is on the cards or not.. Just for the character of Abhimanyu to have the integrity he lost on white day.. He must go through a redemptive period and take steps to fix his character arc.

The number one on that list should have been : Removing himself from the clutches of his vile mother.Moving away from Manjiri's shadow, one step at a time. He can never have peace and quiet in life with that woman around. That woman makes him behave like a spineless man and as long as she's around and never talked back to, never corrected... He's never gonna get his integrity back.

And it has to be done publicly. Not privately. Because this woman humiliates him publicly.. all the damn time.

Urgh. How do I have the lowest of expectations from Abhimanyu and yet.. When will you speak up? Will you ever speak up? So disappointing. I was really rooting for him to speak up. Maybe it will happen when she is against his decision of giving Abhir back to Akshnav but man, he should have said something today.

If akshara can stay mum whilst her family has been spewing venom on abhimanyu right from the starting of their relationship and even after it ended , how on earth is abhimanyu obliged to speak against his mother .

should be glad that he didn't support his mother outright like earlier.

He doesn't need to speak up for Akshara,nope. But can the man speak up for himself and his son and daughter? Manjiri basically insulted his son's family, made his so called daughter's claims on him irrelevant. Made him an active part of something that involves breaking up a family.

He doesn't have to speak up for Akshara. Akshara now has the spine to do so herself. He should have spoken up for HIMSELF, HIS SON AND HIS DAUGHTER. All of which his mother bulldozed for his supposed happiness lol.

He is blinded by the maa ki mamta, bas uski maa mein hi hai mamta. I watched the episode after a long time today, and can’t believe at how selfish a person Manju has turned out to be, and how useless a person Abhim has turned out to be. Ak stood against Manish for Abhim earlier, but people ignore that. Abhim not standing for Ak even once against Manju, its never called out? He only stood for Ak against Harsh, not because of Ak but because of his own hatred for Harsh. He should stop worshipping his mother and understand that everybody is human and is capable of making mistakes. Manju to I have nothing to say. She had the audacity to do all this, not feel guilty at all and then also challenge these people and take decision for Abhim to fight the custody battle? And what are Abhim and Ak? 2-3 year old? They could stand for their child and say no to their families even though their son is at stake?

This reminds me of pre leap time when everyone was dead sure that abhimanyu will move out of Birla house and settle with akshara , they will live indendently ..it was laughable then and it's laughable now..

Yahan tak I knew he's incapable , he won't ever leave his mother but this 😆 more than the white day, he annoys me where he just stood behind his mother nodding his head, as she spit venom on akshara for hiding abhir . White day he still had a reason , he was distressed , drained out emotionally , but what's his justification on these days ? Whenever akshara was wrong he publicly confronted her in his drawing room, in her maayka , but when it's his mom he quietly tells her in her room "ma galat kiya na aapne"😆

Mummys IQ and EQ is lower than abhirs....But what's wrong with him ? Why can't he speak up unless he agrees with what she's saying?,

I hate this so much. He does this all the time. That's why Manjiri never stops... Cause she knows he won't never speak up against her nonsense publicly. Privately who even cares what he says to me, my beta won't go against any decision I make, vile words I say.. publicly. He will whine, move his head from side to side, give extreme 'i am suffering so much' eyes but nothing will ever come out except 'MAAAAA' 😆
