When Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan used to telecast on DD National, curfew kinda situation happened on Sundays.. I still remember people's excitement for this and B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat! I am not able to comprehend what is there in Ramayan that it had to face such things, how would you make the show more secular or say, what one can do to make it appear more secular and appealing to all the religions if that is what they wanted to do with it 🙄🤷 Silly people. And I agree with Zeal, whatever I have heard about Congress, it has truly made India a living hell today for the generations to come tomorrow. BJP is no less or any other party for that matter but UPA is worst.

I don't know who this Aruna Vasudev is, but pankaj pachauri name seemed familiar so i googled it and no surprises there. He was long time associated with NDTV 😆

There's something more that u would like to know about how Bhaskar ghosh benefited NDTV at the cost of Doordarshan 😉

Yes it was indeed a good read. Apart from the thing about Lakshman rekha, I had read or seen about the rest of things in various serials but had almost forgotten them, especially the 1st point about Gayatri mantra.
