Did meerab lie when she said NO to hating him, not really but murtasim is the only easily available target for avenging all the sins committed upon her by the khandaan. Which gets justified when she hears mariyum MB convo about how their entire family is aware of meerab being Anwar's daughter. Entire family in there meant murtasim for Meerab but he doesn't really know and hence questions why is she hell bent on getting him married to an orphan(it's actually him questioning his inner self)
