See the fact of the matter is that it does get tiring when you see one actor playing the PR games and stealing the credits of the entire work all the time. We have seen it happening with every single movie where Alia tried to hijack the narrative and made it all about her, be it the Highway or Udta Punjab or Raazi or even the recent Gully Boy where her role was lesser than Mc.Sher’s and Gangu where she went one step ahead and tried to hijack the credit from the director himself. Heck she even tried to make RRR about her. Not to forget her petty PR games about Sita.As a keen observer, these kind of politics do get tiring and despicable to watch. I hope no A lister worth his or her salt works with her anymore. Otherwise just be ready to be a victim of these dirty games she plays.

That is the main reason why he's taking up brand endorsements and okaying all sorts of gigs to be in the limelight. After RRKPK there is complete uncertainty about his movie career. All the announced projects are quietly shelved because of lack of financiers and there is no new work coming his way. Even if this movie works it will do nothing for him.

Ranveer needs subtle charecters now, his on and off screen persona are too similar and no one is going to pay to watch what we see on daily basis.

He accepted rrkpk even before 83 released, he has always wanted to work with kjo thats why he said yes to this film.

And he has signed his next few films, they just haven't been officially announced by the producers, but media people have reported about his next slate of films

And if this film works it will help him, hit films work for all other actors so why not for ranveer? Why is it when he gets a hit the credit should be given to other people?

Agree. Those who are saying he acts like this in his every movie are clearly mixing up his offscreen persona with the movie stills. Heck, even I feel the same way about it. Why would I want to pay to watch the same offscreen costumes which I was able to get for free by merely tapping into his offscreen appearances?

Besides the shankar movie and takht what else has been shelved? Takht was shelved coz of covid, thats when kjo decided to make rrkpk. The remake of Anniyan was shelved coz the original producer/writer did not want it to be remade, they were getting into legal trouble.

Ranveer made the best decision to part ways from yrf, they did not help him with his career and were giving him rubbish projects.
