No he has always promoted Sid from the beginning. Most of Sid's movies are from Dharma and if there were other producers, Sid would also bring KJO on board. That's how Baar Baar Dekho also happened, which bombed, and then finally Shershaah worked. It's just that Sid is a wooden actor and the return is limited so KJo got bored.

It was Varun who because of his connections used to do his own thing and KJo didn't have much control over him.

Alia is a puppet in KJo's hands. He likes her because all he wants is power - she gives him that. He can decide whatever she does. He's the Kingmaker and made her/ carefully curated her career. He takes all the credit, which means all the newcomers and their parents are running after him for their kids. He loves that power and Alia gave him that, not Sid, not Varun, not any of others. Eventually he will move on as he always does. SRK and Kajol were big on their own when they worked with him, so he is inferior to them. He doesn't have power over them. Rani had YRF, so she wasn't dependent on him.

The only good movie with a veteran and good director sid has had in all these years is only Shershaah.

I'm still waiting for him to give sid a decent franchise and it's been more than 10 years since his Soty debut...🤔

2 states was a good movie of course worked and the other franchise was made by two of the Soty actors when people had fever for them.

People love sid and kiara but he is unable to make a good movie with them same thing when people asked sid and deepika in a movie years ago..he ignores what he wants and favors others.

Yes but was a good movie.Check the second movie with this director it was already a disaster because this director after all is new without experience for these super productions.

The directors do a lot and sid has never had a good one until Shershaah.

Probably he likes the obedience she shows to him ? He wanted to make Kareena’s career the way he was so involved with Alia. Kareena has her own personality and went on to have her own journey at the cost of having a beef with him as well. That’s why bebo is iconic in her own way, and Kjo likes bebo lot more than Aloo, he wanted to make alia kareena pt 2.

He enjoys the attention he gets that he made Alia some star and probably wants godfather title but south movies came out of syllabus now and he’s trying to make her happen there also
