Why K Jo loves Alia so much?

Why only Alia? I have never seen K Jo go out of his way to promote and support anyone as much as he has done for Alia.

Earlier he was obsessed with SRK and Kajol too but with Alia he had crossed all limits and got her whatever she wanted.

Literally spoon fed her.

Almost like a genie who fulfils her wishes or a fairy godmother or guardian angel and guides her.

K Jo is otherwise a nasty guy and Bhatts used to bash his work as candy floss cinema.

How the hell did he develop such a deep liking for Alia and made her career and is also said to have made her personal life and played cupid between her and RK?

What is the back story and why K Jo also keeps promoting Alia in KWK as well?

She’s his little pet project. His protege that he’s molded into a “star” now. I think he revels in the knowledge that Alia Bhatt is a Karan Johar made star. Everything that she’s accomplished and will accomplish is due to his hard work and manipulation and possibly backstabbing and sabotaging of others.

Also she charges a very small fee and for a while was delivering hits for him. If the hits stop coming he’ll move onto his next project. After 10-12 years I’m sure there’s love and affection but I absolutely do not believe him when he claims that he loves her like a daughter. She may be his favorite colleague but she isn’t anything more.

Kjo made this film, only to show Alia twirling in sarees, like Mads,Aish,Sri,Kat..

He felt that was missing in her filmography,in projecting her as a mainstream Hindi film heroine.

Yes he was first one to promote SRK already in league of Amitabh Bachchan in 2004 itself and also used to promote him as superior to other Khans or other stars in general.

Yes her saree and blouse in latest pic with RS remind of Deepika's saree and blouse in YJHD poster.

It is attempt to show Alia in more mature manner as a married or saree clad woman.

Karan was equally committed to making Sid happen. Sid would find projects and Karan would come on board to finance and promote them. Karan was behind Ek Villain as well. He only dumped him because there wasn't much return. Same story with Jhanvi and Ananya. Sara is the only one he never really seemed to like.

It's a reversal of fortunes anyway now. Alia is the one keeping Dharma afloat. 😆
