I wonder why you compare a mere Indian voter with the PM of India... I also think that their job-profiles are different (although with Modi, I have some doubts).

Your sarcasm makes me smile 😉well, there are fans and there are fans and then there are people who aren't even fans and still like SRK...go figure...

@ red: I would have bet that you wouldn't like Pathaan 😃

@ blue: yeah, of course, one can't expect all fans to have the intelligence to understand neither the tweet nor the reason for tweeting the way he tweeted it 😉

M not comparing the two..that sentence makes a statement about media..those who know, know.

Hmm ..M not a fan. But like him coz he is witty, charming, gracious and all that. And since m not a fan can criticize him on not liking something too.

My problem with Pathan..I don't like action movies..and this had an overdose of it. Few illogical things were shown..I get it's a movie and even HW does that etc etc..but I don't like it in any movie. It was a drag. And can name many SRK movies that I absolutely love. Though m a fan of Aamir movies I feel SRK fully deserved the award for DDLJ over Rangeela just for the way he emoted towards the climax.

In short assumptions r not always true.

And if fans could think rationally, they wouldn't be fans of anyone. Coz rationalists won't understand pure, unconditional love. So those criticizing him weren't fans

So? It's govt's duty and they r doing their job.

Even SRK and Aamir got police protection after MNIK and PK, their comments on intolerance etc..Guess they still have

Salman also got protection after threats.

And honestly these threats r just anger and helplessness of people..nothing more. Even these celebs know. That's the reason they don't need to go into hiding, seek asylum in other countries etc. They continue to live n thrive here.

SRK receives immense love in n intolerant India, Aamir lives in the country where his ex wife didn't feel safe..imagine he chose to live here, but not with the wife.

Manoj Muntashir just gets asked questions like how could u write such dialogues for our epics. All he had to do was admit n apologize..not justify

Actually..BW should be thankful for movies like Sooryavanshi, TKF, TKS, Brahmastra, RRR, Pathan and even Adipurush.

They r the reason industry could survive.

Baaki 2020 ke baad se to inki Lanka lag gayi thi. (Sorry ..hangover of dialogue discussion) Still remember how they met politicians to plead for revival of the industry. So when BW is in a soup politicians r supposed to help and once it's stable they r supposed to stay away???? Ajeeb doglapan hai

First of all the actor does not look like Lakshman at all.

The hair style is like Japanese samurai with man bun and not the top knot that Indians used to have on top of head.

And how is his beard perfectly trimmed if he is exiled in a forest in Treta Yuga?

Also why is Hanuman made to look like a comic relief character or a kid?

Dialogue exchange was cringe and sounded like bakwas riddles Indians exchange on FB or WA. Not a test of gyan at all.

Prabhas does not even have a knowing or divine look Rama is supposed to have as an avatar of Lord Vishnu.

One more thing - from yesterday, I've been hearing their argument that they kept these kinds of dialogues keeping in mind the younger generation.

So.. what about the older generation. Did they think older generation will not view this movie or older generation would not mind such dialogues too. Why couldn't they keep dialogues that would be suitable for all age groups or audience type.

Btw sadhus sants are very angry about this movie. At the same time politics is going on too.

I am happy if sant samaj is indeed unhappy. I wonder why VHP, Bajrang Dal are silent though.

I disagree about dialogues keeping young generation in mind. Did they think young generation uses same language as shown in web series or spammed by cheapo trolls online?

Or will tolerate same language used by gods?

Also how can they use today's lingo in a story set in Treta yuga?

At this rate they could also use chat speak, SMS lingo and add stuff like 'WTF' to reach out to young gen.

Even young generation is not so foolish.

I agree that they should have kept language suitable for all age groups.

How did they assume older gen will not watch it?

No chance of 200 now.

Corporate booking and distributing tickets for school kids gimmick in the weekend saved this film from being a disaster. Now it'll only be a flop.

Y’all I generally like Kriti and all, but presently she’s really embarrassing herself on Instagram.

Girl needs to calm down and accept the bad reviews and negativity for her film (which it rightfully deserves).
