The only good scene was the Ram Setu one..Prabhas was full blown Amarendra Bahubali mode..one decent scene in the whole movie😆 I wish Manoj Muntashir would just stop..why the frackk is he trying to justify the dialogues..I cant deal with this nonsense..😡 sigh, I used to love his shuddh Hindi poetry and prose ..but this movie ruined everything💔💔💔

How come he is being allowed to be this clueless about his country and community?

Why does he think Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan exist? Or why are there so many temples dedicated to Hanuman ji across India? Why is Hanuman Jayanti celebrated?

Why even Obama kept a charm with Hanuman with himself if there was never any element of dignity or deity nature attached to Hanuman ji?

I am shocked why VHP, Bajrang Dal, RSS, Shankaracharyas, sant samaj etc are silent even now?

Had the same words been said by someone else, he would have had mobs outside his house and a dozen cases slapped against him for hurting religious sentiments.

Also Hanuman ji is not like a child. He is worshipped for buddhi as well. He represents both buddhi bal and bahubal as far as I know.

Compare how Sagars and team of Ramayan used to talk of Ramayana and contrast it to balderdash spoken by Adipurush team now.

The tone deaf nature and ignorance are evident.

I mean just see old interviews of Ramanand Sagar or Arun Govil and contrast it to this tripe.

You are right. One who does not even consider Hanuman aa a god, is bound to write such dialogues.

I am sorry but BW must stay away from history and religion. They already mangle history a lot in period films. They are never authentic and just want masala at any cost.

That Japanese maker did better justice to Ramayana in his animated film compared to this professional bawasir makers.

I hope Prabhas, Kriti, Saif and the guy who played Hanuman just go underground and keep quiet and do not defend this film. Just keep silent and forget it like a bad dream. Lest they want more backlash and lose face.

I hate obsession of new lot wanting to make religion cool and hoping to monetise it, or using films or toys to make it palatable to kids. Nope. Find better ways to promote faith if you want.

Anyway Manoj is clueless. Indians treat bhakts as sacred too. This is why we respect Mirabai, Ravidas, Kabir etc and also worship Tulsi. Bhakti and devotion has always had place of respect here. This is why devotees of highest loyalty are also treated with sanctity here. Ravana has a certain section worship him or respect him too for being a Shiva bhakt, composing Shiv Tandava Stotram.

Manoj does not know that or what? Why act so clueless?

I hope other films announced on Ramayana are shelved and BW never touches Mahabharat either because they will make B grade kachra outta it.

Because he does support films like he supported TKF and is accessible to actors too.

Compared to other PMs, Modi takes keen interest in showbiz. Reminds me of Nehru, Indira, ABV and Rajiv who were other PMs, known to mingle a lot with actors and taking interest in films or using actors or films to promote ideology.

BJP leaders are thanked in credits of Adipurush so the political angle was bound to get dragged somewhere.

Other PMs such as PVNR, MMS, Lal Bahadur, VP Singh, Chandrashekhar etc had hardly been known to be too media savvy or give bhaav to celebs.

One more thing - from yesterday, I've been hearing their argument that they kept these kinds of dialogues keeping in mind the younger generation.

So.. what about the older generation. Did they think older generation will not view this movie or older generation would not mind such dialogues too. Why couldn't they keep dialogues that would be suitable for all age groups or audience type.

Btw sadhus sants are very angry about this movie. At the same time politics is going on too.

Personally, I liked the movie very much (especially because of all the Easter-eggs and its human/humanitarian touch), but I stress again that numbers are not important to me (I'm not in the business).

In addition, Pathaan generated a lot of positivity...I don't see that with Adipurush...

Didn't like the movie..watched on OTT and couldn't finish..just like LSC and Gangubai.

And interestingly came across tweets of ex(?) SRK fans criticizing him when he tweeted for Parliament..like we even watched a crap like Pathan and praised it on SM just for him..and he does this !!!!

So ya such fans may have shown genuine love for him and the movie. And genuine dislike too when he acted against their wish
