You know what..Murtasim will actually be very happy in his marriage to Haya. His life may not have the emotional highs/lows, the banter and the excitement that chasing Meerab would bring, but he would be happy and stable nonetheless.
He would get plenty of unrestricted sex (Haya would neverrrr make a headache excuse), she will cook good food, snacks, joshanda, tea for him all the time and she will be a yes woman (only for her husband though). Frankly this is what the desi average man wants. Every now and then he’d take her out, buy bangles or gajra, shop around. Aur kya chahiye. He already did that anyway

If we see the episodes from the starting, Murtasim has soft expression in Episode 5 after the slap, and in Ep 6 he had some sort of feelings for her. But after their marriage got fixed I think his feelings got intensified. He was mesmerised when he saw her in Ep 8. And his expressions got more intensified during their Nikah. May be at that time he didn’t fall in love with her but he was attracted to her.
I think he meant that after marriage he didn’t have the chance to be close to her. Maze in the sense husband and wife moments.
