No matter how much mk loves meerab he always thinks she will leave him. He was not afraid of her not accepting his love but he definitely feared her leaving him.

Meerab always had this conception that she can be brave enough to withstand this marriage problem. And not give herself away. Even at times when she softened towards mk she was able to backtrack.

It goes against her will. Coz if she allows herself to fall for mk and accept him then she has to accept all the wrongs happened as right. She is a girl who is all or nothing. No in between. So if she accepts murtasim then she has to accept Anwar as her father, that her dreams are no more, that waqas and anila are also right and victims in this scenario.

She is unable to do and she won't allow it to happen. But now as consummation happened. She has to accept it. She can't ignore the prblm. Prvsly there were no expectations from her from murtasim and meerab herself. Now the game has changed. There is no way for her to backtrack. If you listen the dialogue she tells farook and aunty that murtasim wants her to marry him forcibly. She is right there too. She still wanted to be in that phase only. Not accept that they have moved on from that.

So these insecurities and inner demons will have to be put rest.

👏 so nicely u write that. i could nt write so nicely little while bck but i said that it was about surrender. she surrendered to him in weak moment but she cannot accept it. she have to face this and crush her demon. i think murtasim understand her very well.. he knows why she has run and when she said that on signing contract he had told her u will runaway but u will cry a lot .. so when he finds her he will be angry she was hiding but he knows the reason
