That's just it, I don't think it's a fair assumption in any situation. I don't think Nav should leave to let Abhi Abhir Ak be a family. There is no reason why Abhir can't have two dads. Even the kid understands this and Abhi himself has never asked for that.


Also I hated the emotional withdrawal scenes. To me it's pure manipulation. Nav Ak never had that kind of relationship, so he wasn't withdrawing from a romantic relationship, he was withdrawing from a friendship. And at least I got the sense that he wanted to leave physically as well. I feel like that was the true disconnect for me. Arohi for example released Abhi, but she is not doing anything like that. She had a talk with Abhi which I think went over his head. But she is still friendly with him, their relationship doesn't seem to have changed much. She isn't talking about leaving or anything either or taking away Ruhi.
