Shah Rukh Khan takes the stance

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been a chain smoker all through the years. His number of fags has made news headlines. But there is good news for his fans now. Shah Rukh has pledged to quit smoking and this is the birthday resolution that he had made this year. He does want to give up smoking and is making efforts towards it. Now king Khan will be participating in an anti-smoking campaign.

Union Minister for Health Anbumani Ramadoss has written a letter to SRK telling him that a promotional measure about Anti-smoking from his side will certainly help the youth of today from going astray into the most disastrous addiction. He also complemented SRK on his efforts to give up smoking at the time when the government is making strenuous efforts to curb people from smoking. He also put forward in the letter the hazards of smoking and the number of deaths in a year caused by it. Ramadoss who is head over heel behind the anti smoking cause, has wanted the cooperation of many Bollywood star to participate in the cause. SRK is the latest one!
