Well, at least, the show is acknowledging (through the new parents) how bad Khan haveli’s environment was for Meerab.

Doubt it’s going to have any fruitful results though.

I liked Anwar’s random tadap for his daughter, and him not wanting to die without seeing her face.

Poor nice papa Waqas had to die that way, but I guess it’s a hard lesson for Meerab.

Kumu, if we see, from the starting the characters always talk about how much Murtasim loves Meerab. And nobody emphasizes that how much Meerab is suffering because she had to marry someone she didn't like and her struggling between her heart and her mind whether to accept Murtasim or not and her bearing Haya, an obsessed cousin in combo offer given to her. It was kind of gas lighting that Murtasim is such a selfless lover and Meerab is a nashukri. The makers always covered up Murtasim's mistakes.

But now they are destroying his character too.Because now viewers can see beyond what is shown to them.

It's audience who turned blind towards his actions

who felt angry with the thought of marrying an mere adopted girl

who dragged a girl against her wish in her birthday party by unnecessarily beating her friend

who indirectly blamed his wife for getting slapping too by saying u did bathameezi with mother

Who told his mother he will give his wife punishment not she

Never said that slap was wrong

who gaslighted his wife when she caught him sharing bed with his obsessed cousin & getting fed by her

who took his cousin to village just after the day his wife expressed her clear dislike

Who don't mind his obsessed cousin dressing as his wife & seducing him

Who can't stop his cousin's advances despite claiming to love his wife 1000 times

Who immediately forgives his cousin even if she creates misunderstandings, harms his wife

But won't mind leaving wife at midnight for her mistake

Who does disrespecting things like izzat ke badle izzat to set scores

Who feels he doesn't need to give explanation to his wife ( meerab kidnap, nyla track)

Who has problem with his sister loving before marriage while same man sympathise with the woman who is literally obsessed with him before marriage

Who thinks asking sister's wish in her marriage is not that important

Who believes his cousin who harmed his wife over his own wife ( naurez track)

Don't know about others, but for me his behaviour always been like this

He is big time hypocrite like his mother

Their house daughter literally got a man to her bedroom for 8 months

Another woman seducing married man openly

But meerab is characterless
