Me thinks it’s a battle of PRs. One side’s is trying to claim it as a success. The other side is trying to “show” how it’s not. There are a few contradictory articles that have come out the last 48 hours.

What really happened ?

I think it means they didn't make an additional 5 crore that the free tickets would have cost. they're making 30 so maybe they make 25 instead of 30

Initially all these articles came out declaring the movie a success. By Monday there were these articles that were indirectly refuting the success arguments by mentioning how much money the producers have lost with the ticket deals.
