If I remember right, I've seen a promotion of Gadar 1 re-releasing with a remastered version this month...

i am a neutral audience..i cannot care less about sunny deol but i remember watching gadar..and pretty much everything about the movie..and trust me i have 0 recollection of ghayal..which movie was it? i cannot even remember if i ever even saw a promo let alone the movie..who was the actress? i may have to google now

The Indian environment is patriotic, nationalistic and totally anti-Pakistan right now afaik. Indians and Pakistanis hate each other from the bottom of their hearts. So Gadar 2 is going to be a massive hit. That's a given. Sunny Deol's dialogues are going to be a rage and set the box office on fire.

Animal is also going to be a big big hit. Ranbir Kapoor will show his real potential as a superstar with this movie.

There are more than enough screens in India now that two movies can be mega blockbusters. So we don't have to worry about that.

Punjab was Sunny's main market and where Gadar did a huge business back in the day. They are now angry with him after he supported BJP govt during darker protests last year, we'll have to see if they will flock to theaters to watch this.

What's happened has happened. Repeating ithihaaz just becomes a never ending hate. Wars were never personal.. it was politics. People died for politics and for the power hungry governments.
