I don't get people choosing time travel here. You could time travel to whichever time you choose but you cannot alter the past to create a new future (read: grandfather paradox). You could change some things but over time you having changed things would give rise to new circumstances that would lead you down the same path as your future is currently predestined to be. So, time travel to the future is essentially self torture. Unless, you are time travelling for the fun of it to see any historical figure/events up close.

Shapeshifting would be pretty useless. Unless you've already decided to go on the bad side, using it for conning and deceiving people for your benefit, you can only use it for harmless pranks. Teleportation would only help people in giving them free taxi. You can use it to travel anywhere you want. But there is no other advantage unless you are ready go bad.

All other superpowers (excluding ability to fly and time travel?) can be used to help people and do some good. But some powers like mind control, invisibility and x-ray vision can easily corrupt you. All three would be disaster in the hands of a creep. Invisibility and x-ray vision can be used to see people naked. Mind control can literally be used to commit rape and many more horrific things. How long would it take for you to turn into someone like Kilgrave with the ability to mind control? Making people do anything you want? Would be hard to resist not using such powers whenever its convenient. You need will power and discipline to use these powers in a good way.

Super speed is quite OP. Its equally good and bad. You can become a superhero with this power, but you can also turn evil.

Invisibility is less dangerous compared to mind control. But it can still corrupt you badly. Invisibility, super speed and teleportation, all three can be used to commit robberies, But to rob banks and get large amounts of money, you need skill to open vaults and by pass security. Just your powers are not enough. You're also not invincible and can get caught or killed.

Super strength just like super speed, can be equally good or bad. You can be a superhero, or you can just turn evil. If you've super strength like the Hulk, it means you're pretty much invincible and more chances of you going bad than be good. But its less likely to happen in comparison with mind control. You also don't need any other skill if you just have strength.

For time travel, what are the rules? Do you travel in past and future as a mere spectator not being able to intervene or change anything? Or you can change the past? Would changing the past create an alternate timeline? Do you travel as a separate entity, and can see your past and future self as a different person? Or is it just you travelling back and forth in time?

Ability to fly is the only power which would not corrupt you in any way. But it can't be used to help people either. You can use it to travel just like teleportation, but you can't take someone else with you. And you also need stamina to travel large distances.
