I think ghum ganja fans have abadonned their show and are coming over to watch Anupamaa hence the TRP changes. I mean regardless of the story line it's ways better than ganja gong show.

sab Maaya ki maaya hai…hate her all you like but its evident that audiences love vamps and Chavi is doing a pretty decent job at that….vamps are what make the heroine look good…

Hence Maaya will have to stay and play second fiddle until they find a new negative charater to fall back on. I’ve made peace with this theory and shall try not to cuss Maaya hereon.
