LOL this "white day" term really makes me laugh😆.....so this is "white day" simply cuz everyone was wearing white clothes in those epis?😆

I don't feel the need to erase that day from the narrative....it was a day of immense grief which broke the characters in many ways but it's not some monstrous day like people here try to make it seem.....only thing is that makers showed some random things there like Abhi just having divorce papers lying around to instantly sign and end their relationship😆. That frankly just made me laugh at how obviously forced it was.....the Abhi who was literally worshipping Akshara in her pregnancy phase would randomly have divorce papers ready? Kuch bhi😆.....so when they do things like this, how do I even take the writing seriously😆

And yes, the other forced thing was the depiction of the miscarriage and the aftermath... they showed that entire miscarriage so weirdly and sandwiched between Neil's death....Akshara herself was walking around minutes after the miscarriage no matter how many people told her to rest....she kept getting up again and again to either talk to Abhi or Manjiri....so it was hard to focus on her physical or mental state since they overlapped it all to make a mega khichdi. Abhi told her a couple of times to rest but she still refused to listen....then when he came back to the room, Neil's voice on the speaker basically made him lose his mind and have that meltdown. By then, too many things ka khichdi ban chuka hua tha....was Akshara's mental state worse or her physical state? Toh what do we focus on as an audience? She was just babblingly crying after that and it's not like she was showing her physical pain in an obvious manner that uspe focus jaaye....it all ended up getting focused on the mental pain and numbness between the characters....so when she walked out, her zombie state seemed to be more about feeling upset over the divorce than her physical pain over the miscarriage......and Abhi himself curled into a ball on the floor after she left. Upar se background mein Manjiri having her epileptic fits and Abhi getting pulled into trying to save his mom in the hospital....it was just all a madhouse....toh is sab mein se log sirf Akshara ke pain pe kaise focus kar lete hain? Makers didn't even depict it clearly - just made her do her monologue and hop on to the next bus....this is why I just take it as an overall tragic day rather than trying to make it about one person's pain being bigger than the other's. Yes, Akshara went through a miscarriage that day which was horrible but the very fact that they mixed up so many things happening on the same day unfortunately didn't let the impact of Akshara's miscarriage come through that clearly in terms of narrative.

After Abhimanyu told her never to come back in his life , she can decide what she wants to do including telling him about the child .. and to me definitely what Sbhimanyu did that day in hosanger and grief was a very inhumane act and even if he didn’t physically drag her it is quite equivalent to throwing her out from my POV .. I understand that you believe differently or think that Akshara still owed him something after the way he behaved.. and I don’t think she owes him anything after that .. and it is still her compassion or her being a good person that the child is not poisoned against Birlas .. but more than that when he broke every thing that is the core of a relationship , why will she need to show more compassion than that? He hasn’t even said that he is sorry for divorcing her .. she has no expectations from the others .. but he made such tall claims and then when it was time to stand by those words he couldn’t .. he can fall out of love or really believe she is a bad omen and has only bought pain to his family and that he does not need her in his life .. he is free to feel that way and I won’t say that it is wrong to fall out of love .. but not sure how his live is superior or any kind of live if he could do this to her when she needed him .. again my POV .. will try not to engage in further arguments and make this thread into some sort of battle ground .. but I guess we just will have to agree to disagree

He didn’t throw her out, he divorced her. People trying to make it sound like he physically dragged Akshara and tossed her out is simply wrong. It’s not the same thing. He was out of his mind in grief that day but not some animal like people try to paint him here.

And even if he really threw her out as you are trying to claim, it still doesn’t give Akshara the right to change Abhir’s father on the fly. Abhi never abandoned his child. He didn’t even know. Simply having issues with the mom doesn’t make it ok for someone to erase your existence from your child’s life.

Akshara giving compassion to Manjiri is called her greatness but all expectations are from Abhi to never make mistakes. lol where does Akshara’s compassion go conveniently then?

I agree!!! That whole sequence was so rushed and badly directed, it was hard to focus on anyone. Worst writing and execution. AK had a complicated pregnancy and that too with twins, but she was one to give the news to Abhi while sitting and standing - they made a mockery out of miscarriage seriously!!! ,And husband who was worshipping his wife just 2 days before - has divorce papers ready at home 😓😓 wat utter nonsense…no wonder HC said, wat he signed up for is done and dusted…for an actor like him, he would have questioned all this illogical tracks 😒 but at the end need to settle for the money they make 😳😳 audience are the fools to get attached to these fictional characters 😂😂

@bold: Letting Abhi know he has a son is not something that is “owed” to him. It is his basic right since that child wasn’t made in isolation in some lab by Akshara. He played a part in the making of that child. She has autonomy on her body to birth the child but she has no right to decide on her own to change the father of the child. That is not something “owed”, those are basic rights regardless of a divorce or whatever issues Akshara has with him.

And yes, let’s agree to disagree from this point on. Have a nice day.

Exactly. Like I just couldn’t connect with her coz she kept jumping up to run around after supposedly just having lost two babies in a pregnancy where she was essentially supposed to be on total bed rest. If they wanted to highlight her miscarriage, they should have shown her physical pain more and being unable to move. If Abhi had shouted at her then or told her to get out then, I could still understand people calling him “inhumane”. But Akshara was herself walking around right after her miscarriage like it was hardly that big a thing. Her main focus was more on wanting to grieve for Neil and refusing to rest. But people talk like she was bleeding out on the floor and Abhi threw her out 😕

The divorce papers just sitting there was heights of randomness 😆

In general I am on AbhiM’s side but never for that day. His behaviour was inhumane that day. I can understand his reasons and sympathise with his grief but not how he behaved. Ak is no saint but no one deserves to be treated the way he treated her on that day.

Miscarriage is difficult on body but more than that it is difficult emotionally. From my experience, in first trimester miscarriage, physical pain is equivalent to very bad/extreme period pain and heavy bleeding. As Ak didn’t miscarry fully, she could have just experienced some pain with bleeding. So I don’t think that aspect makes much difference to the narrative. But emotional impact of miscarriage is huge and it is true for both mother and father. Plus untimely loss of a loved one. These are extreme circumstances in itself but to deal with them together, it could break any strong and sane person. That is what happened with AbhiM and Ak.

Abhi was wrong that day and Ak has taken decisions without thinking (as she always does) since. That is how I see the leap story.

P.s - But most of all I don’t think writers of the show have any sense or sensibility to handle such complex sensitive topics with any maturity.

Agree. I like Abhimanyu’s character but I am not going to defend him for that day. What he did was wrong and he had been punished by missing out 6 years of his son’s life and mourning for his kids. But he still needs a proper character growth/redemption arc for it.

Akshara had to spell it out to him after 6 years. Just we all would have liked that conversation that he had with Shefali had instead been with Akshara - with a heartfelt apology. Why they didn’t do it I don’t know - are they trying to show Abhimanyu earn that apology before he asks for it in words or it is to drag the story - only time will tell.

However, what happened after that divorce - for that Akshara is accountable. Not taking help from Goenka’s when she knew how complicated her pregnancy was and shs had already lost one kid. She needed better care which she overlooked. She may have married Abhinav after living with him for 6-7 month but why she started living with him in the first place, even after the police and hostel incidents - she never called Kairav/BP for aid. I get her emotional state - but if you can overlook her irrationality because of her emotions and blame Abhimanyu for acting rash in his emotional state - because for most people a woman pain is always more than a man’s! I don’t agree with this line of thinking. Well to each his own.

Even when the Kasauli doctor mentioned she should go to Dr Abhimanyu - her first thought was not about Abhir’s health, rather his truth. After she came to Udaipur for Abhir’s surgery and Abhimanyu was unreachable - she preferred to keep his parentage a secret when it could have made Manjari give details of the camp. Also as an educated woman who has worked in hospitals before she she should know better than to lie to the doctor about the patient.

Her wanting to reunite or live separately or with anyone else is her choice as an individual- it should be respected. But whatever injustices she faced, she doesn’t prioritize things well or look at the long term consequences of her decisions. She may have pure intentions towards others but in order to keep everyone happy - she doesn’t always make sensible choices and when its about to blow up in her face, she avoids the situation by lying/hiding info from others.

Abhimanyu on realizing his decisions/actions are wrong - doesn’t run away - he stays and tries make things right in the best way he can think of. And this along with his honesty n straightforwardness is why I enjoy his character and story - its fun to watch it unfold and see a man right his wrongs and grow as a person. Its his kindness mixed with a bit of pride and selfishness that make his character more believable and relatable. A layered personality is more intriguing.
