Makers and writers of this show are good at starting a track but definitely need to spend more time thinking through it fully... half way through any track, it starts to lose steam... also, more than the writing and direction - editing seems to the biggest letdown... 🤢🤢 everyone knows ITV shows run on a tight timeline, but day after day that can't be the reason for bad editing and end product!

I hope editors have not become tone deaf and can incorporate this feedback going forward! 🤓🤓

is was! I’m not sure why they went this route. It was so weird and unnatural seeming.

Update :

Dev goes out and is feeling bad that they are losing the last ray of hope they had with the auction of their house. He’s feeling super lost and dejected when a voice speaks to him - he looks up and voila it’s dearly departed daddy (IQ as Shantanu). Dev laments about his failures and is feeling bad. Shantanu tells dev he can’t give up - he has to remember what he taught him, always keep trying. Dev gets some strength and tells him yes, he should continue to try. Shantanu disappears and dev calls Kaushik.

(If Shantanu was made to appear to avoid vidhi giving another lecture - i guess it’s fine. But why couldn’t they use the alive parent - satya)

While Dev is having his seance with daddy dearest, wifey is getting harangued by Jay. He’s continuously calling her, but she cuts the call coz Satya is melting down. He sends her a text telling her to pick up, coz it’s urgent. She finally picks up and he asks her if she got their offer letter. She says yes but she can’t talk now, coz she has to take care of a family situation and hangs up. Jai is pissed and when secretary calls him sayin his dad is calling him, he asks him to tell mr. shah jay is dead. Rude!

Ramoji comes and asks Jay wth is wrong with him. Jay says he listened to him and offered vidhi a job but vidhi doesn’t even want to talk because she has some family emergency. Ramoji is like then she probably is, give her a chance. Jay says he doesn’t want this Indian mentality in his office etc etc and walks away. Later he’s thinking about how Vidhi gave him a dressing down and wonders why he’s not able to get her out if his head. He wonders what she’s capable of - and thinks the Raichands have shackled her in the name of parampar. He thinks he’ll break the shackles if he has to but he’ll definitely see what she can do.

vidhi and dev are praying to maiyya and both of them are praying for the house to be saved.

Later vidhi is in front of the balghar wale kanhaiyya and is thanking him for getting her a job so quickly. She wants to tell dev first. But dev comes in, in a frenzy looking for a bond. Vidhi helps him find it and he tells satya he is hopeful of finding a way to save the house.

Priya shows Amba the prep work for the auction and Amba is pleased. Later vidhi calls her and is worried about what will happen at the auction, priya tells her not to worry and have faith in her. Vidhi tells her that she does and that all of them will be there at the auction tomorrow.

the next day satya is praying to Krishna for a miracle when Dev calls and asks her to go with everyone to the mansion. Satya is happy that dev found a way to save the house.

at the mansion, Amba and priya are welcoming bidders when the raichands come - Amba insults satya and says that had she been a part of their family instead of someone else, then this wouldn’t have happened. Satya says had Amba been a part of their family god knows what all they would have seen. She asks about dev - vidhi says dev dint want to see her so he dint come. Amba asks them to take their seats. Amba goes on stage to say some stuff - but I ffwded 🙈

Priya interrupts Amba and tells that she still owns a part of this house. Amba is like what are you saying - priya tells her that the house is still in Priya’s name and asks Amba to sign some documents so that the house gets transferred to her name. Amba signs in a rush, priya is thrilled, vidhi is thrilled.

Bidding begins at 85Cr - it goes upto 89Cr, when dev comes in a bids at 90C. Everyone is shocked. Amba wonders where dev got the money from.

Epi ends.

Precap - dev tells satya - he’s arranged funds upto 100C, but the bid goes upto 125 and the house goes to someone else. Priya stops the sale and says this house can’t be sold. Everyone is stunned again.
