No it started from older movies where she would play vamp. From shrewd cigarette smoking seductress to evil DIL, SIL & MIL, she has done it all.

As it is in older movies, women wearing skimpy clothes, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, doing cabaret and getting easy with men were labelled as vamps. People would enjoy the n"dity while still frowning on them so that they could appear morally superior. 😆 At least now that is not the case ... Heroines can do cabaret or s"x scenes without being labelled a vamp 😆

Shahid was the weakest link of that film. Weak in every sense be it physically, in terms of dialogues and characterisation.

RS even overshadowed Deepika, who, IMO, did not even look that beautiful in the film nor got the Rajasthani accent or look correct.

RS single handedly saved an otherwise slow, patchy and boring film like Padmavat.

I wasn't impressed with Deepika in the climax scene of Jauhar in Padmavati. I had much higher expectations from that scene.

And u r right. Shahid was totally miscast i think.

I believe the same, atominis.

Most of the movies/villains you've mentioned, I know. I've watched some Kabir Bedi movies, but not the two you mentioned.

Lalita, I have watched several times but at the moment only remember Anari...

But wasn't she a good landlady, hard outside - soft inside type person in Anari? I might not be remembering properly if it was Anari or some other movie 🤔

Tabu as Monjulika in BB2 pretty much overshadowed everyone in that film.

I agree Teja, Robert, Bhalla and Crime Master Gogo are the funniest and cutest villains ever. Totally adorable like cartoons.

Shahid has always looked like a weakling to me.

Only suited for Vivah type films.

I guess he did Kabir Singh and Kaminey to undo his wimp image.

He has absolutely no quality to look like a hero or king or warrior or even angry.

They could have taken Arunoday Singh for Shahid's role in Padmavati....IMO 😳

I am surprised nobody mentioned Prashant Narayan in Murder 2. Dude scared the fck out of me. I was disturbed after watching the movie because of him. Not only he gave a tough competition to the hero, but also had an upper hand throughout the movie. Murder 2 is a tough watch because of it.

Murder 2 is an unofficial remake of a Korean movie The Chaser. The villain in the original movie is not that scary like Prashant Narayan despite that movie being more brutal. Its also because of the presentation. Murder 2 at times feels like a horror movie.
