Todays episode marks the end of the most antiquated niyam of the Raichand house - with satya’s decree the bahu’s can work. In true ITV fashion it was declared as such on stage after many tears. But the highlight of today’s episode has to be Priya and Vidhi’s new formed sisterhood.
I found the editing to be extra weird today in that scene - priya was pouring her heart out and vidhi was like full on with a big smile laughing - what was with that.

The commissioner says that the dues are paid, Dev says all credit goes to vidhi. Jai - for whatever reason - chooses to comment then and says - if women can’t work in a family, can the credit really go to them. And comments something about antiquated rules etc and leaves. Satya takes Singhania’s entry into the function as a sign from Shantanu and gives a big speech on stage and finally says she breaks the rule and gives her daughters-in-law permission to work. Priya and vidhi are overjoyed and they hug satya.
Later priya and vidhi are talking and vidhi says ooh we’re so lucky to have mummy-ji in our lives. She loves us so much. Priya is like true that, but she gives Vidhi full credit for Satya’s change of heart. I am unable to digest this version of priya 🤣🤣🤣 she tells vidhi that by being a good bahu she proved to Satya that they are capable. Vidhi could have taken the credit and moved on - but no she had to give gyan, she tells priya something to the extent of I know you’ve lost a lot, opportunities and time, but you could have been patient or something to that effect. Priya is like I know. She says that she had become so bitter and so lonely over the years, and says she thought with Amba she would get the freedom she so craved. But after everyone left the house, she realized how foolish she was. She wanted her family - she wanted abhi who loved her like no one else, mummyji who cared for her like no one else and bhaisaab who protected her like a big brother. She says that he gave her the house just because she was adamant and she in turned betrayed his trust so badly. She says that she wants to use the auction to gain everyone’s trust back. Vidhi tells priya that she is with her, and tells her that with how things went at the function, Yogesh and Amba will be at odds, and they have to take advantage of that.
Rishina is absolutely fantastic in this next scene. Priya goes home and sees Amba restless about how things turned out at the event. Priya adds fuel to the fire saying she was there and she couldnt believe how easy it was to fix it all the issues Yogesh created. She tells her that they’ll make sure Raichands get what they deserve in the auction. Amba starts talking crap about Yogesh and tells priya to make sure that good for nothing Yogesh doesn’t come near the auction. Priya records everything and sends it to Yogesh.
Yogesh hears it and gets very upset - he calls priya - who again pretends to be the naive deer in headlights and gets Yogesh to help her with tricking Amba at the auction. Yogesh asks her to meet the next day.
At the balghar - vidhi is putting the kids to sleep when ruhi asks her if she will be with them. Vidhi promises never to leave, dev also comes there and says both of them will always be with them. Dev thanks vidhi and says - well done Mrs. raichand! Vidhi is like ☺️☺️
Next day - priya meets Yogesh. He gives her a file and asks her to get Anna’s signatures by the end of the day. Priya again pretends to be Bambi and tells him that she is worried for him. What will happen to his job etc. Yogesh asks her not to worry and that he will be fine.
At balghar, satya is crying about the auction and dev and vidhi try to put her at ease. Vidhi says they should go to the auction but satya says absolutely not and that she doesn’t want Amba to insult them. Chithra comes and tells them they should say bye to the house that gave them so many memories. Satya looks unsure. Dev is trying to think of a way to come out of this - he is desperate as he always had hope the house wouldn’t be auctioned.
Precap - dev is looking for some bond his parents put in his name when he was born. Vidhi finds it. Later the auction begins and raichands sans dev reach there.
