lol tushy norbu ka dance, i dont agree with terrance i felt norbu moving like a girl supposed to in those afro music vids. kinda like nicki minaj cardi b and others

anu was good today. shiv as usual awesome bt its like judges have so high expectations they are always like you are fab but.... this but needs to go. these people have 1 week time to prepare and present, give them some back. atlst dude is trying.

Okay so finally watched both the episodes, I think my only complain would be if they had kept the Jumma Chumma group dance yesterday and finished today's episode with the whole international dance relay they did yesterday, it would've been a fab end to the week. But like I said yesterday, again a good week for us. I liked yesterday's performances a bit better than today's but all the contestants and choreographers did a fab fab job this week. 👏 I don't know why Terrence was being such a tight ass with the scoring, yes we know he has knowledge about international dance forms but he has to factor in that all the pairs were attempting something completely new and different from their styles and lets not forget in just four days if you factor in that they have technicals on the weekend and shoot on Monday so their major choreography should be ready by Friday. How can you expect the contestants to be so strong in a completely new style in four days that too along with several other side acts?🤪 He should've been lenient this week just for the effort.

Coming to the acts, my favorite this week was undoubtedly Vartika and Akshay. Like Felix said I wasn't even looking at Vartika because Akshay was so so good. Such an entertaining performance doing full justice to the vibe of the song. I loved those loose overcoats they were wearing, I think that added a lot to their dance movements.

Boogie and Saumya as usual were terrific. One would think that since Saumya is a belly dancer so they chose this style but there was so less of belly dancing and so much more those Egyptian tutting and serpent movements that Boogie explained later. He is such a fine dancer, I think his hands have a lot of grace. He literally took all the attention from Saumya everytime he was in the foreground of the act. Too good.

I enjoyed Hansvi and Anuradha's Flamenco. I'm glad they tried it out with heels and Hansvi's energy complimented the dance style. Also the way her going rounds in Flamenco style were slowly merging into Kathak was my favorite bit. I loved loved loved the part where Hansvi says 'boyfriend my foot' and immediately the footwork begins, too good! Also the blue cloth they were dancing with changes to red as soon as they kill the guy was a really good touch. Very good effort by both given that their own style is completely different.

I keep saying this every week and I swear I will keep saying this again and again that I will NEVER get bored watching Param and Samarpan dance.I am extremely jealous of their talent as dancers. They are like a butter knife and butter and when they dance it looks like how on those TV ads they show a person applying soft butter on a slice of bread- that is what their dance is like. I cannot get over their legs and the magic they create with it. Uff, brilliant. And such a fine choreography on Chanda Re. Simple and effective.

Shivam and Sonali were effective. I think Sonali's energy this time worked in favour of the style they performed to. Shivam as usual is just effortless. I love his transitions and how he keep changing his postures without any difficulty. There is a certain amount of ease in his legs. Full on 90s vibes in their performance. I enjoyed.

Aniket and Rupesh- Like we all were saying, I think it's high time Rupesh brings something new to the table but yaar at the same time they are so good to look at while dancing even when they are repetitive 😆 I mean their vibe on stage is such ki kuch bhi kare, you can keep watching them. But yes for the sake of Aniket and to bring his versatility out, I hope they do something different the next time. We also have Anish with them next week so expecting something better.

I really enjoyed Raktim and Vipul's performance and I think they did bring something new to the table but for some reason I just couldn't keep my eyes off Raktim today. I think if he would've backed off a bit and let Vipul shine more, I think the act would've been more effective for Vipul's talent. But nevertheless a very good performance on an absolutely annoying song 😆 Also loved Raktim's explanation of the dance styles, it was just too good. Infact I loved how this time they were all describing the dance forms too and explaining them in detail after their performance.

I also enjoyed Shweta and Shivanshu's Paso Doble. I was thinking it would be the usual matador bull performance but I absolutely loved a new take on the style and like Sonali said how towards the end with that one flip the whole story changes and Shweta becomes the attacker instead of Shivanshu. Shivanshu did a fab job with the acting and body language, I don't know why did Terrence cut a mark because I could see the masculine stance of the style in him throughout. Abhi ladka ka physical structure hi utna frail hai toh you can't expect a full bull like physique from him. 😆 Also can I say that I absolutely loved the story telling. I mean we have seen enough of these obsessive lover type storytelling on stage where it ends with the villain doing something creepy but here the villain is reprimanded and the whole 'no means no' message is clearly conveyed. I also saw some interesting moves and choreography and a lot of stage utilization so I'm very happy that they tried something completely new and different as classical dancers.

Sushmita and Norbu were fantastic today individually but I am a bit confused about their performance. Like for Sushmita, I don't know if mime is really considered a dance form? I mean mime is well- just mime right? It's acting, I don't know if just adding a few dance steps to it automatically turns it into a dance form? To me their steps felt more lyrical which they were trying to present as mime. But whatever they did was really good, the small moments here and there were fantastic.

Norbu completely outshined Tushar today and was fantastic but I felt the finesse was lacking in their performance and Tushar was forgetting steps or dropping in energy. Given that we have a ready reference of Laila Main Laila done by Tushar where he was absolutely fab in IBD 1 to the point that no one even noticed Sonal in that performance, I just feel this time the finesse in the waacking wasn't there and the whole mamahuhu over their cross dressing overpowered the dancing. But Norbu was too too good today, not a single beat missed, not a single expression which was faulty!👏

Coming to Anjali and Aryan, I found them the weakest this week mostly because of Anjali. She completely forgot her steps, her energy dropped and the second part of the act was a complete mess on her side whereas Aryan was just terrific and so powerful as he always is. A really good choreography but unfortunately team work was missing. I was surprised that Anjali was also missing out on her regular signature style footwork that she is used to doing. Clearly a bad day for them.

I see probably Anjali and Ram (for obvious reasons) to come down to bottom 2 next week.

Also big boss is back with the report card, no solos this time from Samarpan, Aniket, Vipul and Anjali.

Also to the other choreographers who are keeping solos, why are they getting shorter and shorter with every episode? 🤓
