I had decided that if I am bowling against SKY, I won’t experiment much. We had a meeting where we discussed that we mustn't try too much against Surya, it makes things easier for him. So the idea was to bowl length balls. Even if we get hit for six sixes it doesn't matter, because we felt that is the length most difficult for him to play his shots. The match wasn’t over at that stage, but that wicket meant that we were in the game. There was a relief to take that wicket. I felt we can visualize the final only after that last wicket, we here at GT have won and lost games from baffling situations before, so it is never over till it is over.

This IPL has been the best tho .. the sheer new talent that has come up and some old like Gill shining :). Mohit too …and so many others waiting in the wings and in form as well ..

With every team giving competition till a long time.

Except GT all the other 3 teams got Qualified in their last match.

So many players came back in form with so many new talent we saw.

11:57pm: Titans move on from their Qualifier 1 slip-up with a thumping win, thanks mainly to being the Gillionaire franchise. Sachin Tendulkar praises him in the post-match handshakes. MI came into the mammoth chase with a disadvantage, losing Ishan Kishan to concussion. Nehal Wadhera's promotion to the top didn't work, Rohit missed out too. Shami was the new-ball striker. Green went back retired hurt after being hit in the forearm, Tilak skyrocketed a cameo that kept them in the chase. Green came back, joined SKY who was working his way from mistiming balls to closing in on nearing his best. But Rashid, despite being more expensive than usual, kept his run rate well under the asking rate. Noor did as well. Little and Mohit came on late, the former took out Green and when the latter knocked over SKY, the game was effectively done.

Well just after the toss.. I switched to Mumbai Indian.. 😞

My initial prediction would have helped me score atleast 135 with Shubman in both Most runs and Player of the match 😞
