. Hmmmm , well written piece . What makes me believe this very well could be the narrative is NM and Marie not finding MR really MR between husband and wife and being ok with it . Siraj said about Murtsaum something like “ a man like him who respects women and has never done anything bad to them” ( it was something on these lines , I don’t remember verbatim ) … maybe that was to make a point ( when MR happens) that a man like him who is THIS good was pushed into it because Meerab pushed him against the wall …. (1) Spit and slap (2) her extreme anger and saying those things , not giving him a chance to explain & maybe last nail in the coffin could have been Rohail telling him about the contract thing …. all these factors would have justified his actions according to their understanding.Even now there are many ppl I know ( outside TB social media ) who didn’t find anything wrong had MR taken place because they were extremely upset with Meerab and TOTALLY in love with Murtsaum. That’s what NM’s writing and Wahaj’s exceptional performance has done . There is a world outside TB social media which has large TB audience I am SHOCKED to see educated , well to do , career ladies thinking in this case MR was ok because Meerab left no choice for him . Things like insaan hai bhagwan nahin etc …. Whatever was shot after door closes in epi 46 must have been really ugly which would ultimately lead to MR … I am happy that they edited it coz I love Murtsaum and I would not have been able to digest it , though I had prepared myself for it but still I don’t think any kind of preparation would have helped … but at the same time a tiny part of me would have loved to see that part for the phenomenal and exceptional performance that Wahaj and Yumna must have given . Ok I get it its MR and I should feel bad for meerab.YZ acting is really good but I m not feeling a thing for meerab.Why? Because of her stupidity.I get it why she want to go at night but jab karachi pohanch hi gaye ho tu why did not go to waqas house? She remembered old fbs recent wale ka liye memory loss hogaya.Kuch bhi bakwas likhte hain.Karachi ka halat dekhe hain kya? Raat ko akele ladki Road p ghoom rahe hai.I would feel bad agar waqas ka ghar na hota per fazool ke pain mein dalne ka liye ye sequence dala hai .
Don't get me started on murtasim.His character also died for me
I don't feel anything for any of the lead even if it's MR.

I think they neither meant MR not CS. They wanted to portray it like it happened in a flow... Both were angry and she must have told something like you only wanted your haq right, so what's stopping you take it and he too was angry with slapping and spitting..so he was also if that's what you think about me let's do it.. lol
Dialogues are ambiguous.. It feels like Meerab thought he used her and jumped on to claim the first opportunity he got n he regretted because he realised it shouldn't have happened this way..
I think they wanted to confuse audience by giving such ambiguous dialogues..So everyone would be confused till the end ..was it MR or was it CS..🤪
But it backfired on them very badly..n to save their face they had to clarify it wasn't MR but both didn't want this to happen the way it happened..

Good question. That is very simple to answer.
Murtasim was written more roughly. In an interview with amna, wahaj said he tweaked quite a bit (in amnas words)
He got the slaps removed from like every second or third episode. But they forgot or didn't care to adjust meerabs reaction. That's why Meerabs reactions appear over the top. They didn't adjust her.
Basically a project done badly and overlooked storyline is the end result of such negligence.
As for MR. You are looking at it as a sane and from a human being point of view. See it from Noorans pov. She thinks if he is in love, handsome loving kind and then it's okay.
It doesn't even register to her that what she's written is wrong. Even after the entire continent corrected her.
It's her upbringing. Sorry to make it personal about her but it's her upbringing in a feudal system that she takes MR so casually.
There should be a background check for script writers 😆

The production people clarified it's MR to something haute and fuscia mag.
The writer confirmed. I read with my eyes and I also saw Marie's screenshot conversation.
Are they all liars and some wishful dreamy fans who have no connection to the production people the know it alls?

I'll use my brain and pick logic over how I feel
I'd never want MR but it's what they wrote.
They were lazy on the edit. They could have halted airing and reshoot few scenes
