. Originally toh it was MR so how could he sit with Meerab and explain why he did MR ? He was walking like a zinda laash in black kurta. But ghoom phirke we comes on same page why the murtasim left meerab like this could not he be a little mature on between them and took care of her and explain her that they are husband wife and maybe some sweet words and some mature explanations will help her to understand she is seeking his presence when he is not there she wants him near her

. So in plain and simple words Meerab assaulted Murtasam , right ?Originally posted by: annihilation
THISSS. āļøš Agreed completely. šÆ
And for Murtasim, he is holding himself accountable not because of the act itself but because he had designated himself as Meerub's protector. By default through Nikkah and something he had personally ensured and fulfilled time again as his duty. So, in a way, by giving into her demand/pleading/request (whatever it may have been), he feels guilty for not having protected her. Even if that means, he would have to protect her...from her. He probably realises that she'll regret it upon gaining her senses back and hence the, "woh nahi ruki magar main toh ruk sakta tha...".

. . Thatās it . You nailed it. Letās be happy that they did do damage control, however poorly but it was done atleast. Murtasum was saved from RAPIST tag.Originally posted by: annihilation
I feel like we're all having two parallel world discussions here. š
One, in theory. On paper, as we understand Meerub and Murtasim's characters to be and how and why they reacted the way they did post the deed. Why the regret and guilt makes sense, even with the lack of a conversation later which realistically would have been the next step. The way some of us understand these two, mann, this show would have been such a masterpiece if writers took suggestions and ideas from here.
Two, as per the episode, it's godawful re-editing. So, ofcourse, as per what you see and depending on which context out of the two (originally MR and no MR in the plot) do you apply, some aspect of it or the other isn't obviously going to make sense. That's just a lost case there.
Personally, I'm just relieved that they chose consensual sex over MR, no matter who initiated it or asked for it. Meerub being the one was the safest way out of the mess and as unfair as that may have been to her as a FL lead (Nooran and team have always written her so poorly, so it doesn't make much of a difference to me), it was imperative that Murtasim's character be salvaged. Reason being the way they had developed Murtasim's character to be all this while and unfortunately (or fortunately), Meerub came to the rescue.
