Kehna kya chaahtein hain yaar? Where is this story going?

What in the world! I couldn't watch it completely, its absolutely nuts.

So Viaan doesn't have even one doctor friend to talk to and educate himself? He needs a live pregnant woman and a Katha to guide him. What's with the touching and "feeling" life growing inside. I find him absolutely ewww in this episode.

I agree, he is in the wrong profession, given how little he actually works. He should have been a midwife. It would have kept him busy at least.

Where is my reprieve? Where is Ehsaan? Where are Teji and Farah planning, plotting and rejoicing? Where is Pyramid guy? I want to see Vanya kicking Viaan and Teji's behind😈 I want Pyramid guy to swindle away Viaan R's Lonavla, Dubai projects while Viaan R is learning to birth, bathe, feed, clothe and burp a friend's baby😈and attacking bad teachers, big, bad schools and so on to become a protective parent to his BFF BatmanšŸ¤¢šŸ˜•šŸ˜²

What the heck are they serving us? Who asked the writers to use their brains when they have a readymade story?😔

But, for the life of me, I do not understand what the writers are trying to say about ā€œexperiencing fatherhoodā€šŸ˜² I mean if Viaan cares for Amrita, how is that an experience of fatherhood? He is still a good friend, na and the baby is friends ka bachašŸ˜‰ Am I missing anything?

And who says that to be a father you need to connect with the baby from -ve 9 months of baby’s life? 🤢Are they trying to say that biological dads are the only ones who are real fathers? 😔What an insult to all the adoptive dads, foster dads and responsible father figures in the lives of countless children in this worldšŸ˜”šŸ˜’

What are the writers trying to conclude in the end, with Viaan sprouting nonsense that the connection between father-child etc…..😔Does he not feel protective and responsible towards Aarav as his own? Does he feel that Aarav is any less of a child for him because he only came to know of him when he is 8 yrs old.

And who says being present for a birth counts as an experience for fatherhood?

If this is all he needed to experience to be a father, then, as I said, a doula, a midwife or a Ped nurse would have given this experience. If simply caring for young child with compassion cuts it for a dad, then all male nurses in the peds units should be great fathers, right?

I feel that the writers have completely derailed what they are trying to prove here.

@ bold, that is putting it mildly. The delusion is glaringly obvious.

And, please tell me what is the urgent work for Keith to be unavailable for the birth? Not to demean his work, but he is not conducting brain surgery or launching a rocket at that moment, that he is unable to be present. Ewwww……… who wants a long lost friend to be your birthing partner? Where is Amrita and Keith’s family? And why would Viaan want to be a birthing partner to start with? He is in for a shock for sure - better have the stomach to bear with the gore of childbirth, be able to handle expletives from Amrita, so on and so forth😔

I would like to know too, what urgent work Keith had. And why was Viaan even allowed inside. Amrita never sees this guy for years and now suddenly he gets to be around while she is giving birth, being the first male to carry the baby? What a load of crap.

It is utter nonsense🤢The writers have lost their mind in this labor hullabaloo. Throwing out some half baked truths and using words such as Braxton Hicks doesn’t give them credibility to teach nonsense to the masses🤢🤬There must be a non practicing doctor or a drop out med student in the writers who is trying to teach nonsense to us🤢

The writers definitely have lost it. Just wondering if the actors are sane to want to do this?

There was this nonsense about Katha being curious and following Viaan today. No one seems to work in that office for sure....

I think the reason why people are complaining now is because the makers had originally promoted this show as a proper mature love story with the ONS being the premise of the show and not some random family drama, which is what it looks like its turning into with the introduction of step mom and sibling. I'm not saying there shouldn't be any family drama at all, but there needs to be a right balance between the love story, family drama and other subplots and that balance is missing. In fact, everyone here always appreciated and praised the show in the first 50-60 episodes and how they didn't follow the OG exactly. But at least the premise of the show was still kept in sight till that point. That also increased our expectations from the show but now they don't even mention the ONS at all anymore and the main characters have been turned into a joke after Viaan's redemption track as if nothing ever happened between them. In comparison to the first 50 episodes, the makers have deviated far too much from the OG plot. Although I'm glad that at least there are people enjoying the show.

Thank you for the humble reply and your good words at the end so kind of you šŸŒ¹ā™„ļøā™„ļøā™„ļøā™„ļø

Yeah i do understand what you are all saying and what actually you are complaining about despite being different from my own POV but it's totally fine

I do read also your old comments about how you appreciate that this version deviated from the OG becuase i was a silent reader of your threads šŸ˜‚šŸ˜

My only take was related to some people who may not watch thr OG and appreciating it than the indian version currently so i highlighted things i know they wouldn't be pleasant to indian viewers.

And i want to add 2 more things about the OG :

1. The ONS wasn't always there between the leads

I watched the OG manytimes and ONS was trigger in some times but in their love story stage from truth reveal till their wedding ( which is matching the current period of KA) there was no mention about the ONS!

And at their wedding only when something identical to shamita case happening so it triggered the ONS again and so on

Even FL didn't reject ML because of ONS where he has no redemption also!!

That's why in such case i didn't find it deviation to the core stroy according to me

ONS to me isn't the core of the show

It's the challenge to initiate their story and continuing it!

The core for me is viaan CHANGE from a man with dominating hard side to dominating soft side (which was totally suppressed in the initial episode)

Yeah i know people don't completely change and shouldn't completely change for LOVE

But for this exceptional ONS started story, viaan should completely change to good one to be accepted by katha otherwise they couldn't be together as endgame

As she witnessed the bad egoisitic rude aggressive face of him and consequently hated him

She should face the good face of him and consequently love him

At this case i couldn't say that katha should accept viaan as he is and he should have his old core!!

At this case i would never accept kaviaan.

Because yeah viaan should do effort to make katha accepting him

For katha, i'm sure that the ONS will trigger her again but NOW as she is in denial and even hasn't faced herself with any love feeling towards viaan so she didn't consider the ONS but once they became a couple with initmacy it would affect her again.

Do you notice how katha buried all her traumas and avoiding them

But when something happens, it truggers her again.

Hospital scene with reet delivery - the dubai hotel - the fight between viaan and teji - shamita case

Ohhh i have talked alot, i know very well that nothing would bring that lost passion to any of you unfortuantely but still i hope so šŸ™šŸ’™

Thanks again šŸ’ššŸ’ššŸ’š

I will add nothing rather than my usual words

I'm still enjoying the show and having no complaints

BTW i'm coming from twitter where everyone has complaints about terebin and the arabic version of katha ankahee so here i'm glad to have the indian version šŸ˜€ā™„ļøšŸ™Œ

Also dubai project was missed before even the lonavala project ( i think the last thing was the cancelled meeting with abadali and the way abadali was involved verbally through shamita case)

The previous week has many meetings regarding lonavala project and the week before was employee hiring so i don't think that they are missing office space thay much

The whole fatherhood track was stretched yeah

But it was something related to viaan friend (keith) not related to stranger!

Viaan as we knew from the beginning could go to any extent just to find or prove whatever he wants

So i don't find his behaviour strange as per his character

And I'm glad that they connected that track to his friend keith and the subsequent track of amrita (keith's wife) was normally happening.

As per the new promo, the whole track leading to delivery of amrita is to prove katha's wrong about viaan couldn't understand fatherhood well because he hasn't experienced it

They way katha was admiring his soft side while carrying the neonate in the new promo and then she talked to dodo how he has good qualities

So i found the track very relevant

And the subsequent track will have some meaningful conversation between kaviaan

I know majority now saying why they didn't follow the OG?!

Please you now have complaints after passing nearly 100 episodes

If they have followed the OG, please tell me the following:

Would you accept that viaan proposed katha after knowing she is a mother!!

Would you accept viaan offering katha a second ONS?!

Would you accept viaan going continuously to katha's house with work excuses even or giving her bonus with her salary when she rejected him and not considering that as manipulation?!

Would you accept that katha accept viaan's love without him having any redmeption?

When i saw katha admiring viaan holding the baby in the new promo, i remebered the old katha in episode one imagining her adi with araav and admiring them so the story to me is very relevant and i couldn't drop it for some overboard scenes?!

Because it's really far better from other shows!

Thanks alot again for letting me share my different POV šŸ’™šŸ™šŸ’

Shimo…you articulated the ā€˜other’ perspective quite well! I am in the minority too…am enjoying the show. I think once I stopped being stuck on how I viewed or wanted Viaan vis-a-vis how the makers have fleshed out his character I was ok with it. Of course there is a lot of irrational stretching of logic but frankly which drama follows logic…I have stopped looking for logic now. Considering the last EK show I watched had the lead pair delivering a baby in a boxing ring using boxing gloves & voila a beat and clean baby popped out🤣!!

I am a little caught up right now and too lazy to enumerate the reasons I accept & like the show & Viaan’s character graph currently but I can identify with your approach to the show 😊! I have shelved my hyper critic for now. I think the makers have a unique approach to the story and I am ok to watch them unfold it their way. While the show is not sending me into raptures or wax eloquent about it, I enjoy it like my comfort food😊!

Mili…I totally enjoy your rants as well🤣! It’s truly fascinating to see how each of us view things so differently. If I find time over the next few days I will write Viaan’s perspective for you…cause the OTT stuff like him in the delivery room aside, I do get him šŸ˜…šŸ˜…!!

I don't think any medical student drop out would have written this because there would be some common sense here regarding birthing partners and how it works on the ground. 🤣🤣 posted about this on DT. you can check it out. smiley36

True, they stole Keith’s big moment and gave it to Viaan so he can experience fatherhood. šŸ™„ how much more ridiculous can they get? Can Viaan get? It’s weird how Keith mentioned about Viaan being a fantastic friend, but so far I have only seen Keith being a good friend. To pass off ā€œfatherhood momentā€, to save the video recording and share it at the right moment, to brag about Viaan to Katha. Otherwise no communication between the two. Viaan seems to only get in touch with Keith when he wants something. Some friendship šŸ™„

For a woman to be ok having another man in the room while giving birth? Yeah right!

Thanks Mili for the entertaining analysis. I was wondering why you did not write on Viaan's labour room experience

I don't know which hospital in India allows a male friend inside labour room

Happy to read your comment dear and happy that there is someone who is enjoying the show like me without paying much attention to some illogical line which could be added to any show

And compared to other indian shows, KA considered great one

Thanks again and wishing you happy watching always šŸ’™šŸ™šŸŒ¹
