Most people think Anushka controls VK or he is a hen pecked husband or blame Anushka for his bad performance or poor form. But it is not true.

I think Anushka is like a typical desi woman in love. Women tend to get carried away and do not even realise how much a man has influenced them mentally and emotionally.

I bet VK will impregnate her again soon and she will only be less visible and remain confined to her home, changing diapers.

That 'I wanne be next Madhuri Dixit' spark has long gone from Anushka and I think she could not handle backlash she got for Pataal lok and trolling she gets as VK's wife. She gets more backlash if she issues a statement against jokes or comments about her. Being VK's wife is slowly taking a toll on her due to public backlash. And not necessarily due to VK himself. Being wife or sister or daughter of a sports star is not easy. I mean baby Vamika and Ziva also got rape threats from insane fans online ans today Shubman Gill's sister was abused on Insta. Fans cross limits. It takes a toll on mental health of relatives.

VK seems like a typical North Indian, possessive patriarch. Though he has given Anushka a bit more freedom compared to cricketers of past who kept wife in shadows.

VK was the one who insisted on early marriage and it is he who was never keen that AS acts after marriage.

I think his photo shoots with Anushka, declaring love for her in public are part of showing how possessive he is about her.

Anushka has barely been acting or performing at award shows or doing ads with other models or actors after marriage. She eventually left her production house too.

I have read that men see it as a challenge to tame a freespirit or independent woman. And take it as accomplishment that they managed to change her as per their whims and wishes, clipped her wings or caged her and mould her as per their likes. The taming part is what excites them. This is why they go for successful, independent, outspoken or working or ambitious women and later emotionally blackmail or woo or pressurise her ir trap her in name of love and family and make her sit home or convince her this is her world now, and is much better than goals or dreams she had for herself.

Had VK gone for an ordinary girl who was already not having career or dreams and made her housewife, he would not get publicity or the hype or kick he gets now. He has got lot more hype thanks to marrying a Bollywood actress. The glamour, hype, extra brand value a Bollywood trophy wife brings, is unmatched. Wives of other cricketers are unknown. Virat flaunts his wife as a trophy. Her fans also call him jeeju or defend him or hype him online. His pics with her get them crores from social media sites for sheer number of likes they bring.

Asin's husband also made her sit home and remain away from limelight. Same for husband of Meenakshi Seshadri, Mumtaz in past.

Remember famous comedian Purbi Joshi? Her husband and in laws made her leave showbiz, move to USA and cut off from her friends, colleagues in India. She is not even using social media anymore nor doing web series. Whereas her mom and sister still act on TV or do ads. I am appalled how many independent, earning, working women totally leave it all and agree to remain cut off and underground and invisibilise self just because a man and his family laid that condition.

Niki Aneja was also similar but she atleast posts pics on social media. Purbi does not even do that. Purbi is entirely underground after marriage.

I am shocked why women still yield to such demands and erase entire identity or marry such controlling men.
