Anybody can do it, they just need to have a loyal and dedicated fan base like that of Shahrukh’s who can make it look like a masterpiece.

Today's stars can only dream of having a fandom like like AB Sr, SRK, Salman and Rajnikant....😉....That is what makes these actors superstars......The intellectuals of these days will make fun of what I am saying......but bechare aaj kal ke actors se poocho...unke dil poocho.....what surviving Friday to Friday feels like....😉........unlike SRK and Salman......who can disappear for 4 years and still keep their fandom intact....AB Sr still gets that crowd in front of his house on Sunday....This why they are the mega stars and others are not....😉

Today's stars do not even have it in them. Period.

I mean look at charisma of young Amitabh and contrast it to cross dressers or manbabies of today.

Or look at drop dead handsome young Vinod Khanna and Dharam or Hrithik or young Salman. Compare it to losers of today who have no such aura despite surgeries.

Even their acting talent is overrated. Look at acting young Kamal Haasan, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh, Om, Naseer, Aamir etc and compare it to today's lot.

I mean even villains of past like Ajit, Amrish, Pran, Prem Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Gulshan Grover had better aura and voice modulation than heroes of today.

Today's lot survives on offscreen antics or PR or social media paid trends and paid bots.

They can never have fandom of Amitabh who had country praying and fasting for him after his Coolie accident or Rajesh Khanna whose photos girls married or girls committed suicide when he got married to Dimple and girls would spread dupattas for him on roads so that he does not have to step on mud or his car would be covered in kisses.

Or madness people had for Hema, Madhuri, Sridevi or even Helen whose one song was enough to set ticket counters on fire. Often it was songs of Helen that saved films from tanking back then.

Exactly yes.....people make fun of fandoms.....as if having a huge and loyal fandom is a child's play...😆....

Imagine making it at a time when films were looked down upon and watching films was seen as a vice like watching mujra or people thought ones from good families do not watch films. Imagine making it when there was no internet, social media, paid PR, 24/7 media or TV channels and no surgeries and special effects to look like a zillion bucks or hide your flaws.

Stars of past earned every bit of fandom across generations. They had that spark and chose such scripts that reflected dreams and frustrations of masses.

I doubt anyone is gonna fast or pray for today's champus if someone falls ill or is on verge of dying.

Nor do stars of today have mandirs built in their name the way Amitabh and Rajinikanth have temples for them and a fan even wrote Amitabh Chalisa and composed Amitabh aarti.

They choose bakwas films and hardly work on own language or voice modulation or body language. They are too over exposed. Too in your face and begging for attention. No star like mystique at all.
