One thing that I always liked about vidhi - and how she pursued dev was she went after what she wanted. Whether she loved him or loved the idea of him is a whole different story, but she wanted to be with him and she was bold enough to go after it. That was another reason why I liked this show so much initially.

What the have done to their characters in the recent months is unpalatable.

Vidhi not standing up for Dev whenever she needed to, was absolutely unforgivable. This is when I think I started wondering what in the world he saw in her. I understand why she loves him or loves the idea of him, but I am not able to see why Dev wants to be with her. She doesn’t put him first ever.

And now hiding stuff from him because she doesn’t want him to get hurt is again nonsensical. The original vidhi would have never ever done that.

Like Carl keeps saying, they say she is 21, but she doesn’t behave like she’s 21.

I remembered the hug scene where Dev and Abhi return from Dubai and vidhi welcomes him with an unrestrained hug. They failed to maintain that emotion by bringing in hilly priya amba etc etc.. Had they showed us more chemistry of leads.. We could have understood the importance of Vidhi in his life.

Precisely - I think that episode and the honeymoon episodes were the last I truly felt that they were head over heels in love with each other. Since then, it’s been like a tired marriage.
When vidhi went missing I wish they had shown dev’s perspective more over satya’s. That would have given us some insight into his feelings.

Agreed. Our opinion about Vidhi is in relation to the current track and character development. There is no denying they have a crackling chemistry but they have thrown a damp towel over it 😡

They can still bring the focus back in ViDev if they choose to, time will tell. Given that Iqbal is trolling openly this is something they will have to tackle at some point.

I still can't believe why would they choose to dampen their chemistry when that is the cash cow. Had it been ek shr would have made good use of it

Like once in an episode Dev had told Satyavati that he wants someone who would hold his family together and give them also priority ,not create problems and not be obsessed with him like Amba.

key characters (Chachi, sangeetha, Kanika) I used to mentally abuse them as "bloody beggars"..

I think this is the balance they failed to achieve. There is a lot of shades in between vidhi and Amba. It doesn’t have to be either or.

The problem with Amba is she was obsessed and dev wasn’t interested at all. For whatever reasons he might have had. ViDev ‘s relationship was based on mutual consent, love etc.

dev prioritizing his family and expecting his wife to do the same kinda relates back to the emotional abuse that Minami was talking about. Yes you can love your family and prioritize your family, but it doesn’t have to be at the cost of you- always. Satya and co have always taken advantage of that. Yes they love him, but they have always allowed him to sacrifice his needs for them. Nobody said anything when dev gave everything of his away - they made a fake attempt of saying no. But they never refused it and said it was his right and he shouldn’t give it away.

I have said this in the past too, but I had wished they would show dev learning that he has to prioritize himself and vidhi over the rest. And same with vidhi. But the way the story has developed over the last few months, I don’t see even the smallest chance of it happening.

Watching crackdown 1 featuring IQ as ZORAWAR

Must watch.

I hope Dev babu has a memory loss and turns Zorawar for a day😜..
