I dont think anyone is trying to use Maryam to save meerasim. Life is not Black or White but Shades of Gray.There is nothing wrong in showing Naureiz as a morally gray character, maybe the makers are trying to make viewers rethink on forced marriages and its implications. Yes, Meerasim still have their issues and those needed to be sorted out without resorting to sweeping things under the rug. Both these issues can co-exist and be dealt with parallely!

There's nothing wrong in showing nourez as grey or villian. We have no attachment to him. But I don't want Maryam to be going through terror again
