I agree that the tv folks did this purposely, but we are also equipped with the ability to control our reactions and use our own logical thinking. We all talk about how we are independent doers and thinkers etc etc…why do we need to meet the dumbass tv producers at their level, when they are specifically doing it to get us buzzed.
Many of the people making statements and claims that have yet to be proven are apparently educated people with mass following. So they have a hand in this…and we can all choose the way we react. It’s one thing if we actually saw the episode and the worst was verified as true. But that’s hasn’t happened now.

It’s fine to be pissed and angry after seeing the promo and discuss it. But seeing the attacks on real people was scary. The comparison I made is not to the actual thing that happened, it is however very comparable to worldly situations where mobs are whipped up without verifying information. It is that phenomenon of the social media frenzy itself and how easy it is to cause harm. In one country, for example, inflammatory posts were created by hacking into peoples accounts a couple years ago, and as a result villages were burned down. The inflammatory post here is not comparable to the inflammation of the promo, but that’s not my central point . It’s that social media fury often comes so swiftly and easily without verifying things properly… and it’s scary.

TB promos deliberately set up a MR scenario.

It was deliberately intended to whip up fan frenzy, interest, suspense, excitement. The intent was always to generate sensationalism and trps by using MR as a hook

It backfired on them. They did not realize their global audience in particular won't tolerate MR - especially this blase way of exploiting a sensitive issue for chaska

They brought the backlash upon themselves.

I feel bad for Y & W as they have no say in how promos are edited. They received backlash that was not deserved

Siraj, Geo and 7th sky deserve all the chittar for this level of irresponsibility.
