Why do you think Anuj is putting up with whatever Maaya is doing?

So evidently from his annoyed expressions when Maaya calls him, his eye contact and tension with Anupama etc, Anuj is not with her out of choice. But he doesn't say a word to her even though he doesn't like what's happening. So what is the reason for him quietly listening to her and living with her, without telling Anupama even secretly what's happening?

I think CA has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant from Maaya or something like that. And Maaya of course has asked Anuj to stay with her and break ties with Anupama and maybe told CA that her mother doesn't want her blah blah. And also put forth the condition that Anupama or anyone else can't know about this. But then everyone is asking about Maaya's health...So that's confusing. He cannot possibly be staying for Maaya's sake, so has to be related to CA.

How can he be forgiven if he stayed for Maaya's health? But actually Anupama might just forgive him then for following her footsteps in being mahaan- hurting your own family for outsiders in the name of goodness and righteousness😆

Maaya has some life threatening illness for which CA's blood is needed. CA being choti ANU decides to stay and help her mom. Anuj stays back for his daughter as she has begged him to stay for her and he is scared that Maaya may suddenly die and CA will be in danger. The doctor has given her a maximum of 3 years to live. Since he is guilty of hurting 'meri Anu' because Maaya tried to get close, he had talked to Malti Devi to coach her and take her to Liberty Maata wala Amrika for 3 years, he knew she was leaving hence attended the wedding. He doesn't talk much to Maaya because the doctor has asked them to not give stress to her as it would result in attacks like the one she had when Anu fell on Anuj. So, he is playing along to please a dying woman and protect his daughter. CA is also pretending to hate Anupa for that very reason. Though CA is only 6 or 7, she knows things most adults don't and does things exactly like her mother Anupamaa... After all Anus should behave the same way, right?

When Maya molested anuj anu was at home. So after anuj left Maya might had nervous break down.

In such a state she may have hurt anu n tried to do suicide because of which anu may have called anuj.

Maya might have threatened anu n anuj with suicide because of which anu started calling her maa n anuj promised to stay.

Clearly Anuj is uncomfortable n doesn't know how to get rid of maya. But because of her mental condition can't say anything to her n has to pretend to care for her.
