Hrithik’s KITES a remake of Matchpoint

BLOODY hell, Matchpoint had REALLY REALLY REALLY steamy scenes between Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Scarlett Johansson...If Kites is an exact remake, then it wouldn't pass the censor boards without a PG-13 certificate (unless of course, the Roshans bribe them, but even then it is impossible...) Match point had everything... infidelity, pregnancy,
murder... And Hrithik would be a cold blooded murderer, who murders an old lady and his mistress ...What a departure from his 'saving the world' Krrish image😛

^ hehe.. if Kites has the exact same sexual content Matchpoint did, then i guess people will forget hrithik's kiss with aishwarya in D2 totally.😆😆😆 they'll probably be talking about the steamy scenes for another half a decade.😆😆

hrithik as a cold blooded murderer would be something different & interesting to watch. JRM performed excellently in Matchpoint, hrithik has got some big shoes to fill.😉

havent seen Matchpoint, but the way you describe the movie sounds like a big challenge for Hrithik!
No wonder they have signed a Hollywood actress for the movie, cuz of the steamy scenes..
but are those scenes really that hot and steamy? sounds interesting though!

you're so right. i don't think even the boldest bollywood actress would be able to do the sort of steamy scenes scarlett did in the original film. you should watch MP & then decide for yourself whether the scenes are really steamy or so-so. people have different tastes na?😊

There is no way the scenes are going to be as steamy as Match Point. If they want a general audience for the film, they would have to avoid an A certificate. Bollywood is good at making steamy scenes w/o a proper kiss. I am sorry but am I the only one that gets grossed out when I see some hero rubbing his face against the whole body of a heroine. I would much rather prefer a proper kiss like that between JRM and Parminder at the end of Bend it Like Beckham. It was cute and it got the message across.

IF u read any of hte itnerviews reg Kites by Rakesh ROshan and Hrithik, then you'll know that an integral part of hte story is tht the girl is Spanish n the main plot is abt how two ppl from different cultures fall in love......Having a Spanish girl was a requirement for the film.

How on earth does tht fit in with Matchpoint's story?

Honestly, what Bollywood shows is worse, so blatantly vulgar...Don't get me started...A kiss, if done properly, is much classier...

Remake of Matchpoint or not, hopefully Rakesh Roshan's next is sight better than Krrish...The songs and picturisation of Krrish were 🤢...
