He has just offered her another movie with Sidhanth Chattervedi. I give Karan credit where it is due. I think they know well Bollywood is on the verge of collapsing there is no room for politics yet. In order to save a sinking ship they are going to have to promote talent. Even if he did things to others in the past he will promote talent to save the ship first.

God bless and Amen! But Aloo has him booked. She stated at filmfare this year their journey is just starring. Unless he can do a film with Tritpi and Aloo. I would not mind watching that.

That being said Tripti seriously needs a PR. Vicky has plenty of buzz around him because he married Katrina. Tripti literally has zero name recognition compared to most bollywood stars. She is significantly behind most nepo kids too. She needs to do something OR else this film will flop because no one knows who one of the stars is.

She needs a big-time link-up or a fight with a big-time actress. SOMETHING to keep her in gossip magazines or the news. Or else I do not see her career progressing. She has talent, a screen presence, and above-average looks. But that is not the only thing it takes to make it big.

Even stars who really do not need PR anymore have PRs. This girl who needs it more then anything else has zero buzz.

I don't think Tripti should do movies with Karan Johar. His type of movies won't suit her and she will most like gain criticism like Parineeti. Not everybody can do these flowerpot roles. Parineeti really got caught up in these "quintessential heroine" roles and I hope Tripti doesn't. I like how Avinash Tiwari is going for better roles, even if they are in web series. Maybe Tripti should keep working for better roles and movies than just big names.

Her co-star in her first film Laila Majnu. He was in Bulbul. Remember the one that kills her by setting the forest on fire. He had gone abroad to study law. In Laila Majnu he actually out shadowed her. Bulbul the story revolved around her so he did not get much scope. Both were super-talented pairs. I know they did several auditions to find the most talented actors possible. Someone I personally know made it quite far in the auditions. She was very close to getting the part. She was called to audition because her face was uniquely middle eastern Punjabi. They stated her features were a lot like Laila's.

They are really close friends too. They made a good-looking pair onscreen. I mean Avinash can use beard for his nose. But overall they looked good together.
